When Parents and Children Argue
When parents argue with their children, they say, "Who did that kid take after to be so stubborn as a bull?"
Who did the child take after?
The parents are even more stubborn. That is why, even when the child hears those words, they cannot recognize their own faults.
Why is that?
Parents and children stand in unequal positions. Parents are always the ones criticizing, while children are the ones receiving criticism.
But the parents are more stubborn. So the child cannot accept their words, even without knowing why.
However, when parents begin to reflect on themselves and say, "I'm sorry. I've been so stubborn toward you," the child may respond, "No, Mom. I was stubborn too. I'm sorry!"
In other words, if parents do not reflect on themselves, their children cannot recognize their own contradictions either.
This is the law of 3:7.
When parents, who hold 70% of the responsibility, reflect first and discuss matters with their children, who hold 30%, the children also begin to reflect.
If you, who have made the greater mistake, keep criticizing someone whose mistake is smaller, that person cannot recognize their own faults.
Therefore, whenever you criticize someone, look at yourself first.
If you truly want to help the other person, examine your own stubbornness before anything else.

¿A quién habrá salido?
Padres e hijos ocupan posiciones desiguales.
