“My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready.”
Jesus was deeply concerned with timing—it was the appointed time in God’s plan. He focused on God’s timing, always considering what God desired at each moment. In today’s passage, this could refer to the time of His crucifixion, His ascension to sit at the right hand of God, or both.
Faith means living according to God’s timing. Every decision—when, what, and how—must align with His appointed time and the methods He prescribes. When we seek to obey, He reveals His timing to us.
