샛길을 따라 조심스러운 걸음도 계획했었어
그리고.그 보다 더 가치있었던 것은
난 항상 내 방식대로 살았다는 거야
그래 맞아, 자네도 잘 알겠지만,
어떤 때는 지나치게 과욕을 부린 적도 있었지.
하지만 그런 모든 일을 겪는 도중, 의심이 생길 땐
전적으로 신용 했다가도, 딱 잘라 말하기도 서슴치 않았어
모든 것과 정면으로 맞서면서도,
난 당당했고, 내 방식대로 해냈던 거야
사랑도 해봤고, 웃기도, 울기도 했었지.
가질 만큼 가져도 봤고 잃을 만큼 읽어도 봤지.
