The words of the Jews, based on their own knowledge, are like dead words. They do not speak of God's will or His works but only of what they have read, interpreted, and agreed upon within their community.
In contrast, Jesus speaks the living words of God because He is always with God—"My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me."
In the passage, they argue with Jesus about what is more urgent on the Sabbath—performing the ritual of circumcision or healing the sick. This kind of argument is also seen in the church today. People insist on priorities based on the framework they have created—especially those who emphasize laws in the church. When laws are used for judgment within the church, there is no love or justice, only personal interests.
God's will and righteousness, as spoken by Jesus, are about saving people. Be a righteous person who follows Jesus.
