<p>Receiving the Holy Spirit means being born again by the Holy Spirit. When one is born again by the Holy Spirit, there is a refreshing in the innermost being that comes from the Spirit, and that refreshing is life.</p><p> </p><p>This is why this word is called life. And spirit itself is the power of life.</p><p> </p><p>It is true that Jesus came into this world to forgive our sins and save us, but His ultimate purpose was to give us the Holy Spirit.
