(겔20:33-44)
33 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will rule over you with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.  34 I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered--with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.  35 I will bring you into the desert of the nations and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you.  36 As I judged your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, so I will judge you, declares the Sovereign LORD.  37 I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.  38 I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.  39 "'As for you, O house of Israel, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Go and serve your idols, every one of you! But afterward you will surely listen to me and no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and idols.  40 For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD, there in the land the entire house of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings and your choice gifts, along with all your holy sacrifices.  41 I will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will show myself holy among you in the sight of the nations.  42 Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the land I had sworn with uplifted hand to give to your fathers.  43 There you will remember your conduct and all the actions by which you have defiled yourselves, and you will loathe yourselves for all the evil you have done.  44 You will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for my name's sake and not according to your evil ways and your corrupt practices, O house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"  

하나님은 바벨론 유수(幽囚)의 목적(目的)을 설명(說明)하신다
바벨론으로 잡혀가게 한 사람들은
무작위(無作爲)가 아니었던 것으로 사료(思料)
무지몽매(無知蒙昧) 우상숭배골수분자(偶像崇拜骨髓分子)들은 
바벨론의 침략전쟁시(侵略戰爭時) 칼 기근(飢饉) 역병(疫病)으로 모두 본토(本土)에서 멸망(滅亡)
그래도 생각이 있어 깨달을 수 있는 정도의 사람들을 바벨론으로 이주(移住)하게 한 것

하여 저들은 
흘러간 역사(歷史)
민족(民族)들의 오판(誤判)
아집고집(我執固執)
우상숭배(偶像崇拜)로 밝혀진 헛됨
온 천상천하만물만사역사(天上天下萬物萬事歷史)의 진통치주관자(眞統治主管者)가 여호와 하나님이심을 70년 동안 처절(凄切)하게 알게 되었을 것이다

아버지가 되었고
아들이 아버지가 되었음을 볼 때
자식이 고통받는 것을 
아버지는 진정 
원치 않는다는 사실을
인정하지 않을 수 없었다

마찬가지로 하나님 아버지
아버지의 마음은
그런 것
동일하다 할 것

하지만 그럼에도 불구하고 
아주 싫지만 매를 대는 경우는
그래야만 진정 자식을 위하는 결과를 예상하기에
그렇게 하는 것

육신의 아버지는 
그러나 실수하여 
도리어 자식에게 해를 끼치는 경우도 있지만
하늘 아버지는 결코 실수하지 않으시는 분

오늘의 본문 38절 
거기 보면 ‘I will purge you’라는 구(句)가 나온다

세탁기의 'Purge(퍼지)' 기능은 현대 세탁기에서는 주로 '통살균', '통세척' 또는 '자동세척' 기능으로 불리며, 세탁조 내부를 청소하고 위생적으로 관리하는 것을 의미

하나님께서 이스라엘 민족들을 세탁하기 위하여
바벨론을 세탁기로 사용한 것이 아닐까...하는 생각을 
지울 수가 없다

하여 이러한 원리를
하나님은 고난재난화(苦難災難禍)에 적용(適用)
하나님의 사랑하는 자녀(子女) 백성(百姓)들에게 사용(使用)
하나님께 귀결(歸結)될 수 있도록 하는 조치(措置)를 취(取)하시는 것 같다

71 고난 당한 것이 내게 유익이라 이로 말미암아 내가 주의 율례들을 배우게 되었나이다   
(롬5:3-4)
3 다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를,  4 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다

2 내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 만나거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라  3 이는 너희 믿음의 시련이 인내를 만들어 내는 줄 너희가 앎이라

11 무릇 징계가 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로 말미암아 연단 받은 자들은 의와 평강의 열매를 맺느니라  

그래서 결론은
고난이 유익이요
하나님의 은혜은총긍휼자비복(恩惠恩寵矜恤慈悲福) 이라는 것인데...
문제는
고난(苦難)받는 것
정말 싫다는 것
