지존자의 은밀한 곳에 거하는 자는

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will

I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!"

이는 저가 너를 새 사냥군의 올무에서와 극한 염병에서 건지실 것임이로다

For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper

And from the deadly pestilence.

저가 너를 그 깃으로 덮으시리니 네가 그 날개 아래 피하리로다

He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge;

천인이 네 곁에서, 만인이 네 우편에서 엎드러지나 이 재앙이 네게 가까이 못하리로다

A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right

hand, But it shall not approach you.

이른 비와 늦은 비 Early Rain and Late Rain

네가 들어가 얻으려 하는 땅은 네가 나온 애굽 땅과 같지 아니하니 거기서는 너희가 파종한 후에 발로 물 대기를 채소밭에 댐과 같이 하였거니와 너희가 건너가서 얻을 땅은 산과 골짜기가 있어서 하늘에서 내리는 비를 흡수하는 땅이요 네 하나님 여호와께서 권고하시는 땅이라 세초부터 세말까지 네 하나님 여호와의 눈이 항상 그 위에 있느니라. 내가 오늘날 너희에게 명하는 나의 명령을 너희가 만일 청종하고 너희의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 섬기면 여호와께서 너희 땅에 이른 비, 늦은 비를 적당한 때에 내리시리니 너희가 곡식과 포도주와 기름을 얻을 것이요 또 육축을 위하여 들에 풀이 나게 하시리니 네가 먹고 배부를 것이라 신명기 11:10-15

네가 우리를 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 이끌어 내어 광야에서 죽이려 함이 어찌 작은 일이기에 오히려 스스로 우리 위에 왕이 되려 하느냐 이뿐 아니라 네가 우리를 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅으로 인도하여 들이지도 아니하고 밭도 포도원도 우리에게 기업으로 주지 아니하니 네가 이 사람들의 눈을 빼려느냐? 우리는 올라가지 아니하겠노라 민수기 16:13-14

"For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden. "But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year. "It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul, that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. "He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. Deuteronomy 11:10-15

"Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to have us die in the wilderness, but you would also lord it over us? "Indeed, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards Would you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!" Numbers 16:13-14

성경 말씀 중에 ‘이른 비와 늦은 비’라는 표현을 들으면 어떤 생각을 먼저 하십니까? 많은 이들이 이른 비는 초보말씀, 늦은 비는 성숙한 말씀이라 생각할 수 있습니다. 전통적 해석은 이른 비는 2000년 전 오순절 성령강림, 늦은 비는 성령 충만으로 하기도 합니다. 어느 쪽 해석이던 이른 비가 먼저이고 늦은 비는 나중이며, 이른 비보다 늦은 비의 역사가 더 차원이 높은 것으로 이해할 것입니다.

그러는 동안 대부분 자신들은 좀 더 고차원적인 은혜의 과정에 있다고 자부하려 할 것입니다. 이러한 이해는 다분히 자의적입니다. 오늘은 성경에서 이 표현을 사용하신 의미를 살펴보고 어떤 태도를 가져야 할지, 알아보겠습니다. 이 표현은 이른 비와 늦은 비를 서로 비교하기 위한 것이 아니라 애굽에 대한 비교로 사용된 표현입니다. 성경에는 ‘젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅’으로 묘사된 곳이 두 곳이 있습니다. 하나는 애굽이고 다른 하나는 가나안 땅입니다.

물론 가나안 땅은 포도송이 하나를 두 사람이 짊어지고 가야할 만큼 기름진 땅이었습니다. 하지만 애굽 땅도 역시 젖과 꿀이 흐른다고 묘사하고 있습니다. 그런데 두 곳이 기름지게 되는 데는 전혀 다른 이유가 있습니다. 애굽 땅이 기름지게 되는 것은 나일 강이 해마다 범람하기 때문입니다. 그런데 이 강물을 자신들이 밭에 퍼 올리려면 발로 수차를 돌려야 했습니다. 그래서 애굽 땅은 발로 물 대기라고 표현하고 있습니다.

반면, 가나안 땅은 하나님께서 이른 비와 늦은 비를 적당한 때에 내려주시기 때문에 그 땅이 비옥하고 풍성한 결실을 한다고 설명하고 있습니다. 이러한 성경적 비교 외에도 지난 번 시간까지 함께 상고한 주님의 사역과 이스라엘의 절기의 연관성이라는 도구를 사용하여 보면 이른 비와 늦은 비의 시기가 오히려 우리가 생각하던 것과 반대라는 사실을 알 수 있게 됩니다. 초실절 보리추수와 오순절 밀 추수 시기가 늦은 비, 과일 추수가 이른 비의 시기가 됩니다.

이 표현에서 신앙의 수준을 비교하는 이해의 방식에서 벗어났다면 이제는 성경에 이 표현이 사용된 의미를 직접 생각해 보아야 할 것입니다. 우리가 지금까지 주님께서 자신의 사역을 절기에 맞추신 의미를 생각해 본 이유는 그 내용이 오늘 그리스도와의 연합의 길에 있는 우리들에게 적용되기 때문입니다. 그러므로 각 절기와 주님의 사역, 그리고 오늘 우리들의 가는 과정과의 연관성을 살펴 거기에 담긴 이른 비 늦은 비의 의미를 알아볼 것입니다.

우리가 자신의 십자가를 지고 자신을 부인하는 것은 결국 스스로의 능력에 의한 것이 아닙니다. 그것에는 주께서 십자가로 죽으신 후, 초월의 세계에서 우리의 십자가 상황에 연합하심으로 우리 기력의 시작을 맡아 주신 것입니다. 이로써 우리는 주의 십자가에 동참하는 것이고 초실절 주님의 부활 역시 내가 주님을 이어 두 번째 열매가 되는 것이 아니라 주께서 자신 안에 부활하신 사실을 인식하는 것을 말합니다.

오순절 성령강림은 위에서 내린 것이 아니라 주를 모신 자들의 인격 내면에서 그리스도 안에 있는 자신의 생명이 주 안에서 부활하는 사건을 말합니다. 이는 2000년 전에 그러하였고 오늘도 같습니다. 여기까지가 늦은 비의 역사에 해당합니다. 그리고 수장절의 열매 추수는 그리스도 안에 회복된 나의 인격과 삶에 다른 이들의 대속의 역사가 일어나는 것입니다. 이 역시 주께서 친히 하시는데 이 때가 이른 비의 은혜로 역사하시는 시기입니다.

When you hear the expression‎ 'early rain and late rain' in the Bible, what first comes to your mind? Many people may think of early rain as a beginner's word, and late rain as a mature word. The traditional interpretation is that early rain is the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecostal Day 2000 years ago, and late rain is the filling of the Holy Spirit. Regardless of the interpretation, it is understood that the early rain comes first, the late rain comes later, and the history of later rain is a higher dimension than the early rain.

In the meantime, most of them will try to pride themselves on being in the process of higher-level grace. This understanding is quite arbitrary. Today, we will look at the meaning of this expression‎ in the Bible and see what kind of attitude we should take. This expression‎ was used not to compare early and late rain with each other, but to compare it to Egypt. There are two places in the Bible that are described as "the land of milk and honey." One is the land of Egypt and the other is the land of Canaan.

Of course, the land of Canaan was fertile enough for two people to carry a single grapefruit. However, the land of Egypt also describes the flow of milk and honey. However, there is a completely different reason why the two places become greasy. The Nile floods every year, which causes the land of Egypt to become fertile. But they had to turn the water turbine with their feet in order to pump the river into the field. Therefore, the land of Egypt is described as standing by the water with the feet.

On the other hand, the land of Canaan explains that the land is fertile and has abundant fruits because God drops the early and late rain at the right time. In addition to this biblical comparison, using the tool of the connection between the Lord's ministry and the season in Israel, which we have appealed together until the last time, we can see that the period of early and late rain is the opposite of what we thought. The period of early rain and late harvest of fruits becomes the period of early rain.

If this expression‎ deviated from the way of understanding comparing the level of faith, you will now have to think firsthand about the meaning of this expression‎ in the Bible. The reason why we have considered the meaning of the Lord's service to the season so far is that it applies to those of us who are on the path of union with Christ today. Therefore, we will examine the connection between each season, the Lord's ministry, and our process of going today to find out the meaning of the early and late rain contained in it.

In the end, it is not through our own abilities that we deny ourselves over our crosses. After the Lord died of the cross, he united us in the situation of our cross in the world of transcendence and took the beginning of our energy. In this way, we join the cross of the Lord, and the resurrection of the super-missive Lord also refers to the recognition of the resurrection of the Lord in himself, rather than the second fruit after the Lord.

Pentecostal Holy Spirit Advent refers to an event in which one's life in Christ is revived in the Lord within the character of the Lord's enlisting rather than from above. This was the case 2,000 years ago and remains the same today. This is the work of late rain. And the Feast of the harvest of the fruit is the influence of other people's redemption in my personality and life that have been restored to Christ. This is also the time when the Lord personally experiences it, and this is the time when he experiences it as the grace of early rain.
