You must know Jesus. Knowing who Jesus is means understanding where He came from and where He is going. He came from God the Father and returned to God the Father.
We, too, must go to God the Father. If we follow Jesus, we will go to the Father; if we do not follow Him, we cannot enter the kingdom of God.
The phrase “His hour had not yet come” is repeated often. The Gospel of John emphasizes timing. God fulfills His plan according to His timing. There are situations that God orchestrates, and when those situations are not yet complete, it is said that His hour has not yet come.
Do not forget that everything happens according to God’s appointed time. So even when difficulties arise, do not be discouraged. Instead, recognize that God’s timing is ripening, and become the holy people of God who eagerly hope for His perfect hour.
