Just last week, news reporters were announcing water restrictions coming for the upcoming growing season. This is a blessing, so enjoy and embrace this gift western Canada 🇨🇦

So lucky… enjoy folks. Never get any bad weather in Ireland, it just rains. Not even heavy rain, just annoying rain. Wish we had this snow. So lucky.
@traphomebaby1 day ago
Rest of Canada is not lucky haha just here in south BC we get the “novelty” snow
@alyons051 day ago
In Ireland if you don’t like the weather all you have to do is wait 10 minutes ;)
@toyotasupra971 day ago
We used to get annoying rain here in Vancouver but it’s been pretty dry last few years and we have had water restrictions and forest fires all over the province. Be careful what you wish for.
@smarteam59201 day ago
@toyotasupra97 no it has not been “dry” - we still get plenty of rain, we always get snow, we have always had forest fires
@BC_Geoff19 hours ago
Not so lucky when you have somewhere to be. Snow very quickly loses its novelty.

@smarteam5920 not like this and the data backs it up, but thanks for playing.

@smarteam5920 But they've gotten worse. Hectares burned this year are double the last record of 1.35 million in 2018. This amount is 10 times the 20-year average annual area burned (284,001 hectares) and is what would historically be expected over a decade.
