1. Air Acetylene

; A mixture of air and acetylene gas that when ignited is used for soldering, brazing, and other applications.

2. Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Reversible Ratchet Box Wrench

; The reversible ratchet box wrench allow the ratchet direction to be changed by pushing the lever-like button near the end of the wrench, are used with air-conditioning and refrigeration valves and fittings.

3. Air Velocity Measuring Instruments

; Instruments to balance duct systems, check fan and blower characteristics, and make static pressure measurements. They measure air velocity in feet minute.

4. Belt Tension Gages

; Gage to check belt tension

5. Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen Indicators

; Instruments to make flue-gas analyses to determine combustion efficiency in gas or oil furnaces.

6. Charging Cylinder

; A device that allows the technician to accurately charge a refrigeration system with refrigerant.

7. Clamp-On Ammeter

; An instrument that can be clamped around one conductor in an electrical circuit and measure the current.

8. Compressor Oil Charging Pump

; An instrument to charge compressor oil

9. Draft Gage

; A gage used to measure very small pressures (above and below atmospheric) and compare them with the atmosphere’s pressure. Used to determine the flow of flue gas in a chimney or vent.

10 Electronic Charging Scale

; An instrument to accurately charge refrigerant by weight. This usually can be done manually or automatically.

11. Electronic Combustion Analyzer

; An instrument to measure and display concentration in flue gases of oxygen, carbon monoxide, oxides nitrogen, and sulfur dioxide, and also measures and displays stack gas temperature.

12. Electronic Leak Detector

; An instrument to detect the leak. It uses the sound from the escaping refrigerant.

13. Electronic Vacuum Gage

; An gage to measure the vacuum when a refrigeration, air-conditioning, or heat pump system is being evacuated. It measures a vacuum down to about 50 microns or 0.050 mm Hg.

14. Fin Straighteners

; Fin straighteners straighten even severely damaged condenser and evaporator fins quickly and easily. Also clean away lint, rust, dirt and other debris. 

15. Flare Nut Wrench

; The wrench to tighten or loosen tubing, and the opening at the end of the wrench allows it to be slipped over the tubing.

16. Flaring Tool

; Instruments to have flare bar to hold the tubing, a slip-on yoke, and a feed screw with flaring cone and handle.

17. Gage Manifold

; A tool that may have more than one gage with a valve arrangement control fluid flow.

18. Halide Leak Detector

; A tool to detect refrigerant leaks. It is used with acetylene or propane gas. When the detector is ignited, the flame heats a copper disc.

19. Inclined Water Manometer

; An instrument to determine air pressure in very low pressure systems, such as to 0.1 in. of water column. It is used to analyze air flow.

; Integrated measurement tool allows you to easily measure pipe size

21. Inspection Mirrors

; This inspection mirror is perfect to be used to look under tanks, machinery and vehicles without getting down on the floor

22. Leak Detectors

; Any device used to detect leaks in a pressurized system

23. Megohmmeter

; An instrument that can detect very high resistances, in millions of ohms. A megohm is equal to 1,000,000 ohms.

24. Nut Driver

; These tools have a socket head used primarily to turn hex head screws on air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration cabinets.

25. Nylon Strap Fastener

; Installation tool used to install nylon strap clamps around flexible duct. This tool automatically cuts the clamping strap off flush when a preset tension is reached.

26. Oxyacetylene Unit

; Unit for certain soldering, brazing, and welding applications. They consist of a torch, regulators, hoses, oxygen tanks, and acetylene gas tanks. It produces a very hot flame between 1,000F and 2000F.

27. Plastic Tubing Shear

; a very handy tool for cutting PVC pipe and non-wire-reinforced plastic or synthetic hose.

28. Refrigerant Recovery Station

; Highly mobile recovery unit that is fast, durable, and easy to use

29. Sling Psychrometer

; A device with two thermometers, one a wet bulb and one a dry bulb, used for checking air conditions, wet-bulb and dry-bulb

30. Stapling Tackers

; A device to fasten insulation and other soft materials to wood; some types may be used to secure low-voltage wiring.

31. Swaging Tool

; A tool used to enlarge a piece of tubing for a solder of braze connection

32. Thermometer

; An instrument used to detect differences in the level of heat.

33. Tube Benders

; Tools for bending soft copper and aluminum

34. Tube Brushes

; Tools to clean the inside and outside of tubing and the inside of fittings.

35. Tube Cutter

; Tools to cut tubes

36. Tubing Piercing Valves

; Device for flow control

37. Tubing Pinch-Off Tool

; Tool used to pinch shut the short stub of tubing often provided for service, such as the service stub on a compressor.

38. U-Tube Mercury Manometer

; Device to show the level of vacuum while a refrigeration system is being evacuated.

39. U-Tube Water Manometer

; Device to display natural gas and propane gas pressures during servicing or installation of gas furnaces and gas-burning equipment.

40. Vacuum Pump

; Instrument for servicing air-conditioning and refrigeration systems remove the air and non-condensable gases from the system.

41. Volt-Ohm-Milliameter (VOM)

; Electrical instrument to measure voltage, resistance, and current.
