5.0 out of 5 stars Coudn't be happier with it!, December 11, 2014
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
This is such a great thing! The simplicity of the design is excellent, and it is nothing short of wonderful to go into a warm bed without any EMFs. It uses only about 5 1/3 cups of water, so it warms up pretty quickly......so simple. The heat is even and nurturing. The motor is, as advertised, completely silent, and the unit is not too large. Easy to set the temp and the time for it to run - just an hour or two, or all night. When I first got it, I was a little concerned because I could feel the tubing through the pad, but when I lie down on it, I don't feel the tubing. It is thin enough so that it doesn't compromise the firmness of my mattress. Easy to use, and easy to install. I bought it direct from Aqua Bed Warmer, because at the time, on Amazon is wasn't being sold with free shipping. Excellent customer service from the company. A little tip - when filling it with water, turn it on so that the pump will get it to take the water in. I first tried just pouring the water into it with it off, and it backed up, but once I turned the unit on, the water went into it without a problem. I'm so glad I found this...... it puts to whole concept of a regular electric blanket to shame.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sui generis! (Uniquely wonderful!), March 30, 2014
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
Exceptional! Made a mistake and ordered two, instead of one (expensive product but worth every cent!) Not only took back erroneous order ($400+) but were gracious and kind! (When often does that occur nowadays?)
In short, cannot say enough! Magnificent!

5.0 out of 5 stars A delicious way to sleep!, February 2, 2014
Absolutely heavenly. I bought it for my elder aunt who has poor circulation. She loves getting into bed now and is relaxed all night rather than feeling all contracted trying to stay warm.

5.0 out of 5 stars We love our two twin aqua bed warmers, January 23, 2014
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
I bought a king size Aqua Bed Warmer on Black Friday directly from the company website as a Christmas present for my husband. He immediately loved it. However, that first night we discovered we prefer way different temperature settings. The default temp is 113ºF, which I thought was a bit too warm to sleep comfortably. He wanted it much higher! I felt a bit of buyer's remorse and wondered if I should have purchased a much more expensive product, such as the ChiliPad or Sleep Number's Dual Temp.
I emailed the company and the customer support was excellent. They agreed to refund my original order if I returned just the heater (which saved on shipping). I placed a new order for two twins and they honored the Black Friday price on one of the units. We now have a heater on each of our nightstands. Mine is set to 110º and his is set to 150º. The twin size is 5 inches shorter than the king in length, and they occasionally scrunch up a bit under the sheet, but overall I am very pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far seems to work great in a very cold room., January 14, 2014
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
Living in a very large, old house, I've been debating on how to heat the upstairs better as it dips into the low 50s (even lower on occasion) on very cold nights. But with this Aqua Bed warmer, on the first night (coldest night of the year) with the default setting (113 degrees), we were kicking off the covers. Its now set at 90 degrees which is plenty warm.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good, January 13, 2014
Bought the full size and it fits about perfect. I can feel the tubing in the pad if I search for it with my fingers, but a can't feel it when I'm lying in bed. Nice gentle heat. Pump is dead silent. Seems like a quality build. Easy to adjust time and temperature. It came in very handy when the wife was sick and was chilled. We are both pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, January 9, 2014
We use this for our new baby's crib to keep a constant temp. I made an element from 50' of vinyl tubing, extended the distance by 10' and insulated it so the EMF was in another room. Nearly completely silent, very user friendly. Highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars It's greatest product in Winter !!!, January 3, 2014
I have interest in it because it's good for health and it consumes much less power than normal electrical blanket .
So such blanket is now very popular in Korea already.
It works well , much better than similar blanket from another brand name , I purchased 2 years ago.
It's ideal for winter season. It was my best purchase this winter .
Most of California house can not maintain warm in the winter season due to huge PG&E bills , but with new blanket , I could enjoy my sleep well .
I'll buy another one for my kid.
Strongly recommend to everyone in winter season.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job but could be better., December 17, 2013
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
I bought this as a gift for my wife but I get to enjoy it too. It works well. It heats the bed up in about 45 minutes so you have to start it manually some time before you want to go to bed. We set it for 4 hours and start it after dinner. You get too hot if you run it all night. It seems that in todays world of electronics it would have a programmable timer that could adjust the temperature through the night. I am considering splicing in some copper tubing and running it through the AC register in the summer.
Pros: Heats the bed without the cancer concerns of an electric blanket. Easy to install and use.
Cons: Only one temperature zone. Must be started manualy (no timer). Runs a little cold in the corners.

5.0 out of 5 stars good, November 9, 2013
My wife cannot use electrical heating devices and when i ran across this product i read good reviews and thought it was for her . Ordered a queen size and it fit perfect . No instructions came with it so had to got the internet and get a pdf instruction file . I filled it with distilled waer because my well water is high in sulphur and minerals . With the unit full I turned it on and kept getting an e1 error , low water . Called the co and they told me the level sensor reads hydrogen in the water and to drain a small amount of water out and top off with tap water . I did that and the unit took right off . Since putting in service have just had to adjust temp fo her comfort , started at 115 then 100 now at 90 , seems that is where she needs to be . I might add it only uses about 1/2 gal of water . Only been in use about a week but she says it is wonderful .

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Quite Queen Size, November 3, 2013
First off I was quite suspect of the 5 star on this product, given by a lot of reviewers who only had one review under their belt. Well there was another reviewer with two so it alleviated some concerns. Then I saw the YouTube product video and as another commenter on the video said, that really made me buy the product. Why it was not included on Amazon's product description is beyond me.
Some cons first
First issue I had with the product is that the queen size mattress topper is quite smaller than my queen size mattress. Once centered on the mattress the topper iss 2 to 2.5 inches too short on either side and about 2 to 3 inches too short from the bottom of the mattress. It still covered a good portion so its not a major deal breaker. The mattress topper came with elastics that could have been used to hold the topper in place, but I am not able to use it due to it being a little too small.
The tubing that ran from the top of the topper to the heater/pump/reservoir is just long enough so that the device can sat right next to you at night, I sleep on the right. The power cord is of a good length but the tubing prevent me from placing the device on the floor. If it was about a foot longer it would have been better as I will explain in the next paragraph.
The device is SILENT, to the point I had to question if I set it up correctly. That's in normal daytime ambient noise. However at night the device has a very low, but high pitched humm. My wife could not hear it, but since the reservoir is less than a foot away from my head, I could hear it clearly. It is not annoying, but I could see it become completely silent if it could be just a few inches away from my head. Since the tubing length is limiting it was the best I could do. I am also a very light sleeper, but noise did not prevent me from falling to sleep.
Even so the product is a no brainer buy. The product changed my sleeping patterns for the positive. I've used a lot of electric heating toppers and this product blows them completely out of the water. The heat is completely even. No hot zones and no need to adjust in the middle of the night. Since water releases heat slowly and it is being regulated, you don't get the heat spikes that you do with electric blanket. More energy efficient too.
The topper is manufactured such that you don't feel the tubing. It did have this hard plastic but low profiled box at the top where the tubes exit, not a big deal if you align it to the headboard and have pillows over them. I also had concerns of the tubes being kinked if we slept on it, but so far it has not been an issue.
The packaging and build quality is very high, minor quib of the topper sizing, it is exactly what I expected of a four hundred dollar product. The product was packed so that it was easy to unpack and the manual is designed very professionally. It has not once occurred to me that I paid too much. After using this product, I'm inclined to buy it even at the $500 price point that it used to be on.

5.0 out of 5 stars good sleep, October 4, 2013
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
I used magnetic electric heater warmer bed before I used Aqua Bed Warmer. Since I liked to have a sleep with hot temperature of electric heater warmer. Bad thing was I had to wake up in the middle of night because it was hot. When I used Aqua Bed Warmer at first, I was disappointed with temperature. It was just warm not hot. However, I found out that made me have a good sleep without waking up at midnight. I'm very satisfied with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely satisfied customer, March 30, 2013
I bought this for my mom, who has circulation problems and constantly has cold hands and feet, and she was very satisfied. I bought this through a recommendation. This blanket has a controllable temperature, and my mom was thankful that I bought it for her because it keeps an even temperature and never dies down or becomes too hot in the middle of the night. Its very easy to take care of, and has a safe manageable feeling. My mom never enjoyed electric blankets, and was very satisfied with the water heating system, especially now that we live in Seattle with it's unpredictable weather and such.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome bed warmer!!!, March 26, 2013
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
Aqua bed warmer is super quiet and heats up well. We were wondering how hot can it be, so we tried turning it on at the highest temperature and man, it's like summer in our bed!!! After that, we adjust the temperature to 70 degrees and it's perfect!! The product is easy and simple to put together without reading the manual in much detail. Do make sure you plug in the tubes before you pull the water in, so the water won't leak from the tubes disconnection. The LCD screen is very clear to operate the device settings. It's a great quality product and it will shut off automatically if you move the device for safety. We would definitely recommend the product to our friends and family!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I look forward to going to my bed every night!, March 22, 2013
This seemed a bit expensive when I first heard about it but soon I realized it cost only a dollar a night for a year or so for a good night sleep for many many years to come. And boy, it's definitely worth it. It's very comfortable warmth of perfect temperature with even right humidity, rather than drying heat that I used to feel from electric blanket. I set it at 100 degree and turn it on about an hour before going to bed, when I start getting my self ready for bed. By the time I get in bed, it's so nice and comfortable, my tense muscles seem to just relax and all my worries seem to just melt away as I fall asleep so quickly.
I loved it so much that I gave this to my uncle and aunt as a Christmas gift last year. They are so happy with it and got their friends to get it too.
If you are either electric blanket user or you wish to have warmer bed at night, get this product and it will definitely improve quality of your sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressed, a must have!, March 14, 2013
This review is from: Aqua Bed Warmer Non-electric Heater Blanket (King) (Kitchen)
I've been using my Aqua Bed Warmer for the past several months and defiantly recommend this product. The 100% cotton pad is comfortable and great quality. The heater and pump has a nice LCD display, is very easy to use and makes little to no noise while it's running.
My wife sleeps cold so we would always keep the heat set at 68 degrees even at night. With Aqua Bed Warmer, I turn the heat down to 60 or 62 degrees. The radiant heat from the pad keeps our bed warm so that we don't have the heat the whole house.
I've never been a fan of electrical blankets due to the potential fire risk and EMF's. This product is a must have for anyone looking to safely warm their bed. Well worth the investment.
