The State of Maryland has a lot of diverse oak trees. Among them, white oak tree is the state tree. In the spring, green tender leaves spring out of the gray branches of the oak trees. In the fall, yellow and red leaves color the oak trees.

Towering oak trees are shedding acorns everywhere in the forest. Those acorns are good food for numerous squirrels living there.
Over a narrow brook crosses a wooden footbridge, on which heap countless oak tree leaves.
Some fallen leaves have just arrived on the surface of the pond while others are already submerged under the water. Sometimes feathers of different birds fall on the pond like this.
