위대한 영웅 김민金旻에게 헌정하는 詩
         - ‘김민완안아골타金旻完顔阿骨打’를 노래하며

자신의 뿌리를 고려(신라)의 후예라고 《금사金史》에 당당하게 밝혀놓고, 고려高麗를 상국上國으로 여겼던 ‘신라 유민 출신’ 금金나라 태조 김민金旻, 북방에 금나라를 건설했던 김민을 노래하여 그의 공적을 기리고자 한다.


〈金旻完顔阿骨打 - 第一首〉

羅裔靑年寡退遼     나예청년과퇴요 
出河大捷陷龍驍     출하대첩함룡효
感心濩步多兵逐     감심호보다병축
故國不忘爲北燎     고국불망위북료

裔:후손 예, 寡:적을 과, 捷:빠를 첨, 이길 첩, 꽂을 삽, 陷:빠질 함, 驍:날랠 효, 燎:횃불 료[요].


〈김민완안아골타 - 제1수〉

신라 후예인 청년이 
소수로 요를 격퇴했네
출하점에서 큰 승리하고
날쎄게 황룡부를 함락했네
마음을 감동시켜 호보답강 전투에서
많은 병력을 쫓았으며
고국을 잊지 않고
북방의 횃불이 되었네.


〈Kim Min Wan-an Agolta - The 1stPoem〉

A young descendant of collapsed Silla,
With his small force, he defeated the Ryo empire's military.
Achieving unprecedented victory at the Choolhajeom,
And he captured Hwangryongbu suddenly and quickly.
Moving hearts, in battle of Hobodab-Gang,
He expelled the many enemy troops forth,
Never forgetting his farther's homeland,
He became the glittering beacon of the north.

契丹奴隸燦過忘     글안노예찬과망
新羅後裔靑年起     신라후예청년기
部族同心拉手相     부족동심랍수상

契:맺을 계, 애쓸 결, 부족이름 글, 사람이름 설, 渤:바다이름 발, 발해 발, 燦:빛날 찬, 裔:후손 예, 拉:끌 랍[납].


〈김민완안아골타 – 제2수〉

발해는 갑자기 무너지고
사람들이 흩어지고 사라졌고
거란의 노예가 되니
찬란한 과거를 잊었네
신라의 후예인 
청년이 일어나니
부족은 같은 마음으로
서로 손을 잡았네.

The Balhae Kingdom suddenly collapsed
And many people were scattered and disappeared,
Becoming slaves of the Khitan empire,,
They forgot their glorious past and it's cleared.
Hard of heart, who's descendant of Silla,
When a young man arose and reared up for brother,
The tribes, the old and the young with the same heart,
Joined hands and hands with each other.

       - 來流水戰鬪래류수전투

羅孫抵抗契丹爭     나손저항글안쟁
部族招軍奴放盟     부족초군노방맹
小數向多攻奇襲     소수향다공기습
來流水勝作遼驚     래류수승작료경

契:맺을 계, 애쓸 결, 부족이름 글, 사람이름 설, 襲:엄습할 습, 遼: 멀료[요], 驚:놀랄 경.


〈김민완안아골타 - 제3수〉
        - 래류수전투

신라 자손은 저항하며 거란과 싸웠네
부족에서 군을 부르고 노예 해방을 약속했네
소수로 다수를 향해 기습 공격을 했으니
내류수의 승리는 요를 놀라게 했네.


〈Kim Min Wan-an Agolta - The 3rdPoem〉
      - Battle at the River of Nae-ryu

The great descendant of Silla resisted 
And fought against the Khitan,
Raising armies from tribes, promising 
The freedom from servitude and had beaten
Them. With a small force, he suddenly and suprisingly attacked 
The larger and regular enemy,
He amazed the Ryo Dynasty and their troops
By the river of Nae-ryu's victory.

       - 出河店戰鬪출하점전투

契丹願滅抵新萌     글안원멸저신맹
持續眞人走集兵     지속진인주집병
說夢戰前曾士氣     세몽전전증사기
出河大勝滿州并     출하대승만주병

萌:움 맹, 활량나물 명, 있을 몽, 曾:일찍 증, 并:아우를 병.

〈김민 완안아골타 - 제4수〉
           - 출하점전투

거란은 저항의 새싹을 말살하기 원했고
계속 여진인은 달려서 병사가 되려 모였네
전투 전에 꿈을 연설하며 사기를 높였고
출하점 전투의 대승으로 만주를 아우르게 되었네.

- The Battle of Chulhajum

The Kitan empire tried 
To eradicate the sprouts of resistance,
But the Mohe rallied, aspiring 
To become the soldier from distance.
Before the battle, he boosted 
The morale by addressing splendily
A great victory in the Battle of Chulhajum, 
He got the Manchuria's supremacy.

     - 黃龍府戰鬪황룡부전투

四方部族出心降     사방부족출심항
建國金旻要地撞     건국김민요지당
圍占遲枯攻援滅     위점지고공원멸
黃龍府勝立基邦     황룡부승립기방

降:내릴 강, 항복할 항, 撞:칠 당, 遲:더딜 지, 늦을지, 枯:마를 고.

〈김민 완안아골타 - 제5수〉
       - 황룡부전투

사방의 부족들은 나와서 마음으로 항복하고
건국한 김민은 요지를 공격했네
포위하고 점유하고 지연으로 고사시키고 원군을 공격해서 멸했으니
황룡부 승리로 나라의 기초를 세웠네.


〈Kim Min Wan-an Agolta - The 5thPoem〉
         - Battle of Hwangryongbu

Tribes from all directions surrendered in spirit,
As Kim Min, the founder, attacked the fortress to clear it.
Encircling, occupying, delaying tactics to exhaust,
He annihilated the reinforcements by suprising attack, so they lost
The battle. At Hwangryongbu he won the sweeping victory,
And establishing the foundation of Keum Dynasty the new country .

▲한시는 4행시(Quatrain)이지만, 번역 과정에 feet 수와 Rhyme을 맞추다 보니, 6행시(hexastich) 스타일이 되고 말았다. 아쉽지만 한시는 ‘정형성’으로 표현하는, 형태로 번역하는 것이 좋을 것 같다.

     - 護步答江戰鬪호보답강전투

遼皇募士帝親征     요황모사제친정
七百千兵二萬勍     칠백천병이만경
淚說感兵心集鬪     누세감병심집투
護步大捷永揚名     호보대첩영양명

征:칠 정, 부를 징, 勍:셀 경.


〈김민완안아골타 - 제6수〉
      - 호보답강 전투

요황은 병사를 모으고
황제는 직접 정벌했네
칠십만 병사를
이만으로 상대했네
눈물 어린 연설로 병사들을 감동시키고
마음을 모아서 싸웠으며
호보답강 대첩으로
영원히 이름을 날렸네.

     - Battle of Hobodab Hill

The Ryo Emperor personally led the expedition,
From whole country, after recruiting soldiers.
Just twenty thousand, Kim Min would face with
The seven hundred thousand soldiers.
He moved his troops with tearful speeches,
And they're rallying their spirits, fought for victory,
With the sweeping victory at the Hobodab Hill,
He'd forever etched his name in history.

寬容對敵術征蠻     관용대적술정만

旻:하늘 민, 覇:으뜸 패, 두목 패, 艱:어려울 간.



〈김민완안아골타 – 제칠수〉

팔척장신에 수려한 얼굴
관용으로 적을 대하고 전술로 오랑캐를 정복하였고
북방의 패자로 신라를 계승했으니 
영웅의 이야기는 어려움에 빠진 사람들에게 빛을 주네.

A tall and handsome figure, 
And people greeted him with blowing clarions.
He treated enemies with tolerance 
And with strategy, conquered barbarians.
As the ruler of the north, succeeding 
Silla, as he'd asserted himself.
It brings light to the distressed people 
that the hero-tales on the dusted bookself.
