Ø Inspection : Quality, Quantity and Weight by SGS, Alex Stewart, CCIC or
Alfred H. Knight, if available.
Ø Payment : By an Irrevocable, Transferable, Divisible, Revolving Documentary
Letter of Credit, issued or confirmed by a Top 25 Bank, payable 100%
at sight against
PROCEDURE:
1. Seller’s agent to issue Corporate Offer .
2. Buyer reviews, and accepts the Corporate Offer and sends an LOI.
3. Seller’s Mandated agent sends the FCO with the request to issue a BCL in
the seller’s name.
4. Buyer signs, seals and returns the FCO along with the correct BCL.
5. The seller’s issues the contract. Buyer signs and seals the contract and
sends it back to the seller’s Mandated agent by e-mail.
6. Buyer sends the signed 3 hard copies to the seller’s office address by courier.
Seller signs the hard copies and returns 2 by courier to the buyer.
7. Buyer’s bank issues Payment instrument as agreed in contract.
8. Seller issues 2% Performance Bond
9. Cargo delivery as per contract
