인륜人倫에 야박한 사람을 멀리

하라는 선생의 말씀을 찾아갑니다

다산초당 오르는 뿌리의 길은

낯선 바람이 길을 물어도

뿌리칠 만큼 시름이 깊습니다

고요에 묻힌 초당에 홀로 앉아

달빛을 마중하려 하늘을 보니

그 달이 비에 젖어 형상이 없습니다

만덕산 차나무에 흐르는 빗물도

알고 보면 선생의, 아니 나의 눈물입니다

인연은 물결이라는데

시월, 이 비 그치면 시름이 멈출까요

굴러가는 바람 따라

굽이돌며 흘러온 내 인생길에 

다시 얹는 섶다리

I visit Dasan's historic site, thinking about his words

"Keep away from pitiless person for humanity"
Sturdy roots of old pine trees half exposed seem sad,

caring the least of the wind on the way up to the place

Sitting alone in the thatched-roof house in silence

I look up in the sky for the moonlight shedding down

looking for the moon but fail to see it for the rain

Dripping raindrops at tea trees in Mandeoksan Mt.

reminding me of Dasan's tears, indeed, are felt like mine

A relationship is like being in undulating waves,

I wonder if my sorrowl could disappear after the rain in October 

Following the blowing wind

I have lived a life I felt like it flowing around the corners

Again I build for my life another bridge made with brushwood
