우리 회가 아스트리드 린드그렌상 후보 선정 기관으로 승인되었습니다.

It is my pleasure to confirm‎ that the ALMA jury has approved the Korean Children's Book Association as a nominating body for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. We are looking forward to cooperating with you regarding this!

An invitation to nominate for the 2026 award will follow, including the full nomination regulations. The nomination process is planned to open on March 11, and to end on May 15. If you already are thinking about which candidates to nominate, here is some useful information from the nomination regulations:

Nominating bodies may propose authors and illustrators whose work for children and young adults are of the highest artistic quality, imbued with the same profound spirit of humanity that characterized Astrid Lindgren. The award is for the entire body of work, not an individual piece. Nominating bodies may also propose individuals or organisations that have carried out exceptional work to promote reading and/or oral storytelling on the part of children and young adults.

Each nominating body is entitled to nominate a maximum of four candidates:
• A maximum of two candidates from the nominating body's own country.
• A maximum of two candidates from other countries.

Nominating bodies may neither nominate themselves, their own projects, nor a project where the nominating body is a co-organiser. A nominating body may not nominate individuals that are part of the management of the organisation in question.

지명 기관은 아스트리드 린드그렌(Astrid Lindgren)을 특징짓는 것과 동일한 심오한 인류애 정신이 깃든 어린이와 청소년을 위한 작품이 최고의 예술적 품질을 지닌 작가와 일러스트레이터를 제안할 수 있습니다. 이 상은 개별 작품이 아닌 전체 작품에 수여됩니다. 지명 기관은 또한 아동 및 청소년의 읽기 및/또는 구두 스토리텔링을 촉진하기 위해 탁월한 작업을 수행한 개인 또는 조직을 제안할 수 있습니다.
