던전의 공기는 썩은 피와 곰팡이 냄새로 가득했고, 바닥은 끈적이는 진흙처럼 내 발톱을 붙잡았다.

그 순간, 바닥이 꿈틀거리더니 슬라임이 튀어나왔다.

녹색 점액이 벽과 천장을 타고 흘러내리며, 수십 마리가 합쳐지고 갈라졌다.

나는 꼬리로 휘둘러 흩어냈지만, 산산이 갈라진 슬라임은 다시 모여들며, 날카로운 산성의 거품을 뿜어냈다.

날개 가죽이 닿자, 타는 듯한 고통이 퍼졌다.

곧 이어, 어둠 속에서 굶주린 울음소리가 메아리쳤다.

눈이 여러 개 달린 스캐빈저 무리가, 바닥의 시체와 뼛조각을 뜯어먹으며 다가왔다.

개처럼 빠르고, 늑대처럼 날카롭게 달려드는 무리.

나는 날카로운 발톱으로 앞줄을 찍어눌렀으나, 뒤에서 달려드는 놈들이 날개를 물어뜯었다.

내 포효가 터져나가자, 던전 전체가 울렸다.

그 울림 속에서 그림자가 일렁이며 적들을 삼키기 시작했다.

나는 어둠을 더 깊이 끌어올려, 검은 번개를 토했다.

번쩍이는 전류가 아니라, 음울하게 갈라지는 검은 불꽃의 섬광.

스캐빈저들이 비명을 지르며 땅에 나동그라졌다.

그러나 끝은 아니었다.

바닥이 흔들리며, 거대한 뼈로 된 갑옷을 두른 스켈레톤 기사단이 행진해왔다.

그들의 눈은 차갑게 타올랐고, 녹슨 검과 방패가 동시에 일제히 들어올려졌다.

I raised the darkness deeper, and threw up a black lightning bolt.

Scavengers screeched to the ground.

The floor shook, and the Knights of Skeleton, clad in enormous bone armor, marched.

Their eyes burned cold, and rusty swords and shields were lifted simultaneously.
