You're watching a brazen crime in action. 
See this woman pumping gas off to the side. 
Now, watch this silver car pull up next to her just like any other customer. 
As the woman is focusing on the gas pump, watch, the thief crouches down, opens her passenger door and grabs her purse. 
The entire crime takes only 19 seconds. 
Police call these crooks sliders.
They say it's sliding because they're sliding
below the eye level of the door.
And it's happening nationwide, from Houston to Miami to Washington D.C. 
In this case, watch as the thief checks the door, it's locked so he jumps through the window to snatch the purse. 
The victim pumping gas just feet away.
This is such an easy crime for them to commit because they're in and out so quickly.
It happened to Susan Dan Kousky while filling up her tank. 
Surveillance cameras caught this car pulling up next to her truck. 
Watch as the thief creeps out, opens her door, and makes off with her purse.
I never even thought to lock my doors
because I’m standing right there next to my car.
While cops nab some of the thieves, many are never caught, leaving women vulnerable, easy targets at the pump.
Where do you keep your pocketbook when you’re pumping gas?

차량 옆쪽으로 주유를 하고 있는 이 여자를 보세요.
다른 고객들처럼 여자 옆으로 정차를 하는 은색 자동차를 보세요.
여자가 주유기에 신경을 집중하고 있는 사이에 도둑이 몸을 아래로 구부리고 조수석 문을 열고 가방을 집어갑니다.
범죄에 걸리는 총 시간은 19초가 걸렸습니다.
경찰은 이 사기꾼을 ‘슬라이더’라고 부릅니다.
실제로 문짝 눈높이 아래에서 미끄러지듯 범죄가 이루어지기 때문에 슬라이딩이라고 부릅니다.
그리고 휴스턴에서 마이애미, 워싱턴 DC에 이르기 까지 전국적으로 성행하고 있습니다.
이번 경우는 도둑이 문을 확인하고 잠겨있자, 유리창을 통해 들어와 가방을 탈취해 갑니다.
피해자는 몇 발짝 옆에서 주유를 하고 있습니다.
짧은 시간 내에 진입했다 나가기 때문에 저지르기 쉬운 범죄입니다.
Susan Dan Kousky에게도 주유 중에 그런 일이 일어났습니다.
자동차가 그녀의 트럭 옆에 정차를 하는 장면을 감시카메라가 포착했습니다.
도둑이 기어 내려와 그녀의 자동차 문을 열고 가방을 갖고 도망칩니다.
내 자동차 바로 옆에 서서 주유하기 때문에 문을 잠굴 생각을 전혀 하지 못했어요
경찰이 그들 중 일부를 체포하지만 많은 도둑들은 좀처럼 잡히지 않고 있습니다.
