Easy Chair

When autumn arrives, let’s get on the train with toothpaste and brush in the bag. There’s nobody who invites us to come. No locale waits for us. Just get on the train. We may get off the train anywhere on the way when we feel bored. An easy chair may be waiting for us at a way station. That chair may hug a few yellow dead leaves, and the twilight may be waiting for a while. That place will be a stopover for someone and a terminus for another.

간이의자

가을이 되면

가방에 치약과 칫솔을 넣고 기차를 타자
오라는 사람은 없다
기다리는 곳도 없다
무작정 기차를 타자
가다가 지루하면 아무 데나 내려도 좋다
간이역에서

어느 간이의자가 기다리고 있을지도 모른다
그 의자는

노란 낙엽 한두 장 받아안고 있을 테고
저녁노을도

잠시 앉아 기다리고 있을 것이다
그곳은 누구에게는 경유지가 될 테고
누구에게는 종점이 될 것이다
