가을비는 수직으로 내리지 않는다

남대희

수직은 눈물이다

높은 벽이다

벽 안으로 들어갈 수는 있어도

넘을 수는 없다

벽으로 나를 가둔다

벽 밖은 고기압골에 놓여 있다고

기상 캐스터는 말했다

벽 안은 저기압

마굿간을 돌아 나온 구름이 툇마루 끝을 어정거렸다

비로소 바람이 누웠다

비도 따라 누웠다

펄럭거리며 벽이 커튼 속으로 사라졌다

커튼은 사선으로 팔락이다가

은행나무를 몇 바퀴 돌아

노랗게 발가벗겨 놓고 흥건히 적셔 놓고

다시, 가을은

비가 되어 내렸다

Autumn Rain Doesn’t Fall Vertically

Vertical is tears

A tall wall

Even if you can enter inside the wall

You never surpasses it

I confine myself within the wall

Outside the wall, the weather caster said,

There is a high-pressure trough

Inside the wall is a low-pressure

Clouds that swing around from the barn hesitated at the end of the porch

Finally, the wind lay down

The rain lying down along with it

Fluttering, the wall disappeared into the curtain

The curtain sways diagonally

Spinning around a gingko

Stripping off it’s yellow leaves and wetting

Once again, autumn

Became rain and fell down
