열왕기상5장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV흠정역 열왕기상5장

1. 그들이 솔로몬에게 기름을 부어 그의 아버지 대신 왕으로 삼았다는 것을 두로 왕 히람이 들었으므로 그가 자기

    신하들을 솔로몬에게 보내었으니 이는 히람이 늘 다윗을 사랑하였기 때문이라.

And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David. 

2. 솔로몬이 히람에게 사람을 보내어 이르되,

And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,

3. 당신도 알거니와 내 아버지 다윗이 자기 사방의 전쟁으로 인하여 {주} 곧 자신의 [하나님]의 이름을 위한 집을

    건축하지 못하였는데 마침내 {주}께서 그들을 그의 발바닥 밑에 두셨나이다.

Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.

4. 그러나 이제 {주} 내 [하나님]께서 사방에서 내게 안식을 주셨으므로 대적도 없고 재앙도 없나이다.

But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, [so that there is] neither adversary nor evil occurrent.

5. {주}께서 내 아버지 다윗에게 말씀하여 이르시되, 내가 너 대신 네 왕좌에 세울 네 아들 곧 그가 내 이름을 위해 집을

   건축하리라, 하신 대로, 보소서, 내가 {주} 내 [하나님]의 이름을 위해 집을 건축하려 하오니

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. 

6. 그러므로 이제 당신은 명령을 내리사 그들이 나를 위해 레바논에서 백향목을 베어 내게 하소서. 내 종들이 당신의

    종들과 함께할 것이요, 또 당신이 지정하는 모든 것에 따라 내가 당신의 종들의 삯을 당신에게 주리이다.

    당신도 알거니와 우리 가운데는 시돈 사람들처럼 재목을 잘 벨 수 있는 자가 없나이다, 하니라.

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that [there is] not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. 

7. 히람이 솔로몬의 말을 듣고 크게 기뻐하여 이르되, 이 날 {주}를 찬송할지로다. 그분께서 다윗에게 지혜로운 아들을

    주사 이 큰 백성을 다스리게 하셨도다, 하고

And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed [be] the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.

8. 히람이 솔로몬에게 사람을 보내어 이르되, 당신이 내게 사람을 보내어 구한 것들을 내가 깊이 생각하고 백향목

    재목과 전나무 재목에 관하여 당신의 모든 소원을 행하리이다.

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: [and] I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir. 

9. 내 종들이 레바논에서부터 바다로 그것들을 가지고 가겠고 내가 그것들을 바다를 통해 뗏목으로 당신이 내게 지정

    하는 곳으로 보내며 거기서 그것들을 부리리니 당신은 그것들을 받으시고 내 소원을 이루어 내 집안을 위해 양식을

    주소서, 하고

My servants shall bring [them] down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive [them]: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household. 

10. 이처럼 히람이 솔로몬의 모든 소원대로 백향목과 전나무를 주매

So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees [according to] all his desire.

11. 솔로몬이 히람에게 그의 집안의 양식으로 밀 이만 고르와 순수한 기름 이십 고르를 주되 해마다 히람에게 그와

      같이 주었더라.

And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat [for] food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year. 

12. {주}께서 솔로몬에게 약속하신 대로 그에게 지혜를 주시매 히람과 솔로몬 사이에 화평이 있었고 그들 두 사람이

      함께 동맹을 맺었더라.

And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.

13. 솔로몬 왕이 온 이스라엘에서 일꾼을 모집하니 모집한 일꾼의 수가 삼만 명이더라.

And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men. 

14. 그가 그들을 한 달에 만 명씩 번갈아 가며 레바논으로 보내매 그들이 한 달은 레바논에 있었고 두 달은 집에

      있었으며 아도니람이 그 일꾼들을 다스렸더라.

And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, [and] two months at home: and Adoniram [was] over the levy.

15. 또 솔로몬에게 짐 나르는 자 칠만 명이 있었으며 산에서 돌 다듬는 자 팔만 명이 있었고

And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains;

16. 이 외에도 그 작업을 감독하는 관리들 가운데 으뜸가는 자 삼천삼백 명이 있었는데 이들이 그 작업에서 일하는

      사람들을 다스렸더라.

Beside the chief of Solomons officers which [were] over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work.

17. 왕이 명령을 내리니 그들이 큰 돌과 값비싼 돌과 다듬은 돌을 가져다가 그 집의 기초를 놓았더라.

And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, [and] hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.

18. 솔로몬의 건축자들과 히람의 건축자들과 돌을 네모나게 만드는 자들이 그 돌들을 다듬었고 이처럼 그들이 그 집을

      건축하기 위해 재목과 돌들을 예비하였더라.

And Solomons builders and Hirams builders did hew [them], and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
