<p>Apple shareholder are not expected to scrap diversity programs despite broader backlash.</p><p>Shareholders for the company are expected to reject an atttempt pressureto  on Apple into scrapping corporate programs designed todiversity its workforce.</p><p>The proposal drafted by the National Center for Public Policy Research urges Apple to follow a litany of high-profile companies that have retreated from diversity, equity and inclusion inititives that have ebbn in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump.</p><p>Those companies include technology peer, Google and Facebook parent company Meta.</p><p>I'm Haya Panjawni.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
