Shareholders for the company are expected to reject an atttempt pressureto on Apple into scrapping corporate programs designed todiversity its workforce.
The proposal drafted by the National Center for Public Policy Research urges Apple to follow a litany of high-profile companies that have retreated from diversity, equity and inclusion inititives that have ebbn in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump.
Those companies include technology peer, Google and Facebook parent company Meta.
