Article 246. 착함을 착함으로서 남을 돌보며 계속 이어 나가도록 물자를 이어 주는것이다.  It means caring for others with goodness and supplying them with resources  so that good deeds may sontinuously endure. 사람의 일이 장차 세상에서 버림받아 쓸모없게 되면  When someone′s endeavors are in danger of being abandoned by the world and rendered useless, 남의 부모와 처자식에게 인간의 도리를 할 수 있도록 안정시켜 주며  one provides stability so they can fulfill their human duties toward their parents,  spouse, and children, 남이 우물을 버리고 부엌을 떠남을 뒤쫓아 안정을 시켜준다.  and follows after those who are forced to abandon their wells and hearths,  bringing them back to stability.  [Original Text, 원문] 善은 善於恤人繼物이니 (선은 선어휼인계물이니)  Goodness lies in excelsing at showing compassion to others and providing   resources to sustain them. 人事將廢에 安人父母妻子之倫하며 (인사 장폐에 안인부모처자지륜하며)  When a person′s affairs are on the verge of ruin,   one provides them stability so they can fulfill their moral duties toward their parents,   spouse, and children. 定人背井離廚之蹤이라. (정인배정이주지종이라.) It brings stability to the footsteps of those who are forced to leave behind  their home and hearth.
