In recent years, Korea-Chinese citizen adjacent to North Korea has become known as the home to elaborate voice phishing scams. In voice phishing, a caller will imitate a bank, police officer, or other official who needs to find out someone’s bank account information to trick the target into giving them money. A news report about a phishing scam where the victim was fooled by a caller’s fluent Seoul accent has raised the alarm once again.
In my case ,about 6 years ago I almost losing my money. Someone who called me my cellphone.like this, 나; 여보세요? 사기꾼; 아~ 여보세요 김 아무개이시죠? 나; 네 맞는데요, 어디세요? 사기..;여기경찰서인데요, 댁에 통장에서 400만원이 인출된 사건이 있어서 범인을 잡을려고 하는데요, 잠깐 기다리시면, 강 아무개 검사가 다시 확인을 할것이니, 5분만 전화 끊고 기다리세요. . . . . (3분정도 경과후 ,묵직하고 아주 톤을 낮춘 다른 남자 목소리전화) "아, 여보세요 강검사입니다." 그때만 해도 시초라서 난 보이스피싱이란 단어를, 또는 전화로 사기 치는것자체를 전혀 모른 상태. . 그뒤,. . 집에서 제일 가까운 은행이,
어느은행이냐, 빨리 가서 확인 해봐라 등 난 반신반의 하면서 , 은행으로 갔다 좀있다 은행 도착할쯤 다시 강검사 라는 사람 전화 왔다. 그러기 전에 거기 직원 보고 내통장에서 돈이 나도 모르게 인출됐다 해서 왔다고 하니까 전화벨이 울리자 님자 직원이 받아서 다짜고짜로 "너 사기꾼이지?" 그러니까 그쪽 왈, "당신 누구야?" .................. 하다가 끝이 났다. 나중 알고 보니, 매스컴에서 보이스 피싱 주의 하라고 자주 나오더군요. ㅎ ㅎ ~ 그뒤론 모르는 전화는 될수 있으면 사양 하고 있답니다 ㅎ ㅎ 썬샤인님 , 건강 하세요~
I was laughing so hard I almost peed on myself while I was listening to their conversation. The guy refer to as a detective really cracked me up. I feel sorry for the people who actually fall for this crap. The victims was fooled by a caller's. ...I feel bad for that

1. Be suspicious of unsolicited calls. 2. Never provide bank account numbers 3. Report the suspicious event the authorities
