시작기도: 좋으신 주님! 교회 공동체의 주인이 되시고, 영원한 사랑으로 교회 공동체를 지켜주시며 바른 길로 인도하시는 주님! 오늘도 교회 공동체 한 사람 한 사람에게 새날을 허락하시고 새로운 한 날을 시작할 수 있도록 은혜를 베풀어 주심을 감사드립니다. 오늘 하루도 주님께서 지켜주시고 인도하여 주셔서 주님 안에서 승리하는 하루의 생활이 되게 하여 주심을 감사드리고 특별히 하루의 일을 시작할 때 교회 공동체가 모여 새벽기도로 인도하여 주심을 감사드리며 한 심령 한 심령을 온전히 주장하셔서 내 힘과 수단과 방법으로 살지 않게 하여 주시고, 주님을 온전히 의지하여 내 지혜보다는 주님의 지혜를 의지하는 교회 공동체 한 심령 한 심령이 되게 인도하여 주시옵소서. 오늘도 주님의 영광을 드러낼 수 있는 교회 공동체가 되게 인도하여 주시옵소서. 또한 게으른 모습이 없기를 기도합니다. 주님이 주신 귀한 하루를 방종하며 헛되이 보내는 교회 공동체 한 심령 한 심령이 되지 않게 인도 하옵시고, 각자 맡은 바 일에 최선을 다하며 성실히 감당할 수 있는 교회 공동체들이 되게 인도하여 주옵소서. 집에서 나갈 때나 들어올 때 위험하고 실족하지 않게 보호하여 주심을 감사하옵나이다. 우리교회 공동체들을 구원하여 주신 예수님 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!!!

본문: 열왕기상5장1~18절

1솔로몬이 기름 부음을 받고 그의 아버지를 이어 왕이 되었다 함을 두로 왕 히람이 듣고 그의 신하들을 솔로몬에게 보냈으니 이는 히람이 평생에 다윗을 사랑하였음이라. 2이에 솔로몬이 히람에게 사람을 보내어 이르되 3“당신도 알거니와 내 아버지 다윗이 사방의 전쟁으로 말미암아 그의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축하지 못하고 여호와께서 그의 원수들을 그의 발바닥 밑에 두시기를 기다렸나이다. 4이제 내 하나님 여호와께서 내게 사방의 태평을 주시매 원수도 없고 재앙도 없도다. 5여호와께서 내 아버지 다윗에게 하신 말씀에 내가 너를 이어 네 자리에 오르게 할 네 아들 그가 내 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축하리라. 하신 대로 내가 내 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축하려 하오니 6당신은 명령을 내려 나를 위하여 레바논에서 백향목을 베어내게 하소서. 내 종과 당신의 종이 함께 할 것이요 또 내가 당신의 모든 말씀대로 당신의 종의 삯을 당신에게 드리리이다. 당신도 알거니와 우리 중에는 시돈 사람처럼 벌목을 잘하는 사람이 없나이다.” 7히람이 솔로몬의 말을 듣고 크게 기뻐하여 이르되 “오늘 여호와를 찬양할지로다. 그가 다윗에게 지혜로운 아들을 주사 그 많은 백성을 다스리게 하셨도다.” 하고 8이에 솔로몬에게 사람을 보내어 이르되 “당신이 사람을 보내어 하신 말씀을 내가 들었거니와 내 백향목 재목과 잣나무 재목에 대하여는 당신이 바라시는 대로 할지라. 9내 종이 레바논에서 바다로 운반하겠고 내가 그것을 바다에서 뗏목으로 엮어 당신이 지정하는 곳으로 보내고 거기서 그것을 풀리니 당신은 받으시고 내 원을 이루어 나의 궁정을 위하여 음식물을 주소서.” 하고 10솔로몬의 모든 원대로 백향목 재목과 잣나무 재목을 주매 11솔로몬이 히람에게 그의 궁정의 음식물로 밀 이만 고르와 맑은 기름 이십 고르를 주고 해마다 그와 같이 주었더라. 12여호와께서 그의 말씀대로 솔로몬에게 지혜를 주신 고로 히람과 솔로몬이 친목하여 두 사람이 함께 약조를 맺었더라. 13이에 솔로몬 왕이 온 이스라엘 가운데서 역군을 불러일으키니 그 역군의 수가 삼만 명이라. 14솔로몬이 그들을 한 달에 만 명씩 번갈아 레바논으로 보내매 그들이 한 달은 레바논에 있고 두 달은 집에 있으며 아도니람은 감독이 되었고 15솔로몬에게 또 짐꾼이 칠만 명이요 산에서 돌을 뜨는 자가 팔만 명이며 16이 외에 그 사역을 감독하는 관리가 삼천삼백 명이라 그들이 일하는 백성을 거느렸더라. 17이에 왕이 명령을 내려 크고 귀한 돌을 떠다가 다듬어서 성전의 기초석으로 놓게 하매 18솔로몬의 건축자와 히람의 건축자와 그발 사람이 그 돌을 다듬고 성전을 건축하기 위하여 재목과 돌들을 갖추니라. 아멘.

본문해설: 두로 히람 왕에게 목재를 요청함(1~12절)

다윗 시대가 정복의 시대였다면, 솔로몬 왕 시대는 평화의 시대입니다. 하나님은 솔로몬 왕에게 평화를 주시고 물질적 풍요도 주셨습니다. 이에 솔로몬 왕은 하나님 뜻을 따라 성전을 건축하려 합니다. 두로 히람 왕은 다윗 왕과 좋은 관계를 맺었는데(삼하5:11두로 왕 히람이 다윗에게 사절들과 백향목과 목수와 석수를 보내매 그들이 다윗을 위하여 집을 지으니), 솔로몬 왕이 되자 지혜로 소문난 솔로몬 왕은 좋은 관계를 유지하고자 화친을 요청합니다. 그러자 솔로몬왕은 성전을 짓기 위해 필요한 최고급 재료인 레바논의 백향목을 요청합니다. 당시 목재 운반은 육지에서 항구로, 뗏목에 실어 다른 항구로, 다시 육지로 옮기는 길고 힘든 작업이었습니다. 드로 히람 왕은 솔로몬 왕의 요청에 흔쾌히 응하고, 솔로몬 왕은 매년 막대한 비용을 지불합니다. 솔로몬 왕은 하나님이 주신 재물을 성전 건축에 기꺼이 사용합니다.

□ 솔로몬 왕은 성전을 짓기 위해 두로 히람 왕과 어떤 거래를 했나요? 부모 대에 이루지 못한 일 중 내가 사명으로 알고 이룰 일은 무엇인가요?

건축에 필요한 재료를 준비함(13~18절)

솔로몬 왕은 목재와 돌을 마련하기 위해 이스라엘 전역에서 3만 명의 역군(일꾼)을 모읍니다. 역군은 강제 노역을 위해 동원된 사람입니다. 한 달에 1만 명씩 교대로 레바논에 보낸 것은 각자 자기 집 농사일도 병행하며 생계를 유지하게 위기 위함입니다. 사람들 외에도 짐꾼 7만 명, 돌을 다듬는 일꾼 8만 명, 관리 3,300명이 성전 건축에 참여합니다. 솔로몬 왕의 건축자들, 히람 왕의 건축자들, 그발 사람들이 함께 건축에 참여합니다. 솔로몬 왕의 건축 재료의 많은 부분을 준비했지만, 백성의 노고 또한 만만치 않습니다. ‘솔로몬 성전’이라 불리는 예루살렘 성전은 이처럼 솔로몬 왕 혼자 지은 것이 아니라 온 이스라엘 사람이 함께 지은 하나님 성전입니다.

□ 하나님 성전을 지을 때 참여한 사람들은 누구였나요? 한 사람의 수고가 아닌, 모두의 수고임을 기억하고 서로 격려할 일은 무엇인가요?

마침기도: 하나님 아버지! 교회 공동체 안에서 하나님, 교회 공동체가 소유한 모든 것이 하나님 은혜임을 알고 하나님이 주신 사명을 위해 전진하는 인생이 얼마나 아름다운지요. 사명을 온전히 이루기 위해 성령님의 지혜를 늘 구하게 하소서. 길이 멀고 과장이 험해도 함께 헌신하고 서로 격려하며 나아가는 믿음의 공동체 되게 하셔서, 자기 죄를 회개하고 성령님 충만함을 받아 변화되어 복음 전도자로 예수님 그리스도가 나의 주님과 구세주요 그리스도이시라는 것을 전파하는 교회 공동체가 되게 하소서. 구세주 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!!!

사랑을 위해 사는 삶                                                                                                                  –광야를 걷고 있는 그대에게/김유복

그리스도인은 왜 일하는가? 이웃을 사랑하기 위해 일한다. 때로는 일이 지루하고 고되더라도, 하찮아 보이더라도 우리교회 공동체가 그 일을 하는 이유는 바로 ‘사랑’ 때문이다. 그리스도인의 소명은 ‘하나님의 계명을 지키는 삶’을 사는 것이다. 하나님의 계명을 지키는 삶이란 사랑을 위해 사는 삶이다.

그리스도인인 우리교회 공동체가 고된 노동을 마다하지 않는 것은 바로 ‘사랑’ 때문이다. 우리교회 공동체는 동료를 사랑하라고 각자의 일터로 부름을 받았다. 힘들게 번 돈으로. 사랑하는 가정 공동체를 섬기라고 부름을 받았다. 또한 우리교회 공동체가 열심히 일하는 이유는 교회 공동체와 온 세계의 가난한 지체들을 사랑하기 위해서다. 그리고 우리교회 공동체의 영적 성전을 함께 세워 가기 위해서다.

직장에서의 업무뿐 아니라 누군가를 위해 커피를 내리고 쓰레기를 치우는 일, 아기의 지저귀를 갈고 무거운 누꺼풀을 비비며 동화를 읽어 주는 일, 소그룹 나눔을 위해 간식을 준비하고 자리를 배치하는 일, 독서 모임을 준비하고 질문을 만드는 일, 어려운 사람을 보살피는 일, 다음 세대들에게 성경을 가르치는 일, 이 모든 것이 바로 하나님이 우리교회 공동체를 통해 깨어진 세상을 회복시키기 위해 사랑으로 행하게 하시는 일이다. 함께 하나님 나라를 세워 가는 일이다. 그러므로 우리교회 공동체가 하나님 안에서 행하는 일은 그 어느 것도 하찮지 않다._두란노

한절 묵상

본문: 열왕기상5장1,8절 1이스라엘 모든 지파가 헤브론에 이르러 다윗에게 나아와 이르되 “보소서. 우리는 왕의 한 골육이니이다. 8그 날에 다윗이 이르기를 누구든지 여부스 사람을 치거든 물 긷는 데로 올라가서 다윗의 마음에 미워하는 다리 저는 사람과 맹인을 치라 하였으므로 속담이 되어 이르기를 맹인과 다리 저는 사람은 집에 들어오지 못하리라.” 하더라. 아멘.

솔로몬 왕이 성전을 건축하기 시작합니다. 그는 이 일을 위해 두로 히람 왕에게 도움을 요청합니다. 히람 왕은 평생에 아버지 다윗 왕을 친구로서 사랑한 인물입니다. 하나님 나라의 위대한 역사를 이루는 고ㅓ정에서 비교회 공동체들의 도움과 참여도 필요합니다. 하나님은 이를 위해 교회 공동체들의 경건하고 구별된 삶을 사용하십니다. 교회 공동체의 삶이 교회 안과 밖에서 존경받고 하나님을 나타낼 때, 비교회 공동체들도 하나님 나라의 위대한 역사에 참여하게 됩니다.
