‘Where Do You Go’와 ‘When I Die’ 등으로 호주와 유럽 곳곳에서 좋은 성적을 얻었지만 북미 지역에서는 상대적으로 미미한 결과를 낳았다. ‘More Than A Feeling’과 ‘Tu Amor’ 등을 선보인 2집 (More)(1998)은 독일, 스위스, 오스트리아에서 호응을 얻었다.

■ Career
1995–1997: My Promise
In 1995 the group released their single "Missing" which was a cover version of Everything but the Girl's 1994 hit.
No Mercy released their debut album, My Promise on October 21, 1996.
My Promise was the original title chosen by the trio's German record company, Hansa, BMG.
The album was released in the U.S. only a week later under the self title No Mercy on October 29, 1996.
The album, however, was released in most areas of the world with its original title My Promise, including Australia where it received two times platinum sales accreditation.
My Promise which became a top-5 album in countries like Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland, produced two internationally popular singles, including "Where Do You Go" and "When I Die", the first being a cover of La Bouche's "Where Do You Go" from 1994.
This was followed by the single "Please Don't Go", which entered the top 5 in Austria and the U.K.
The trio released a re-worked version of the band Exile's number one song from 1978, "Kiss You All Over", which was a moderate success on the charts but still managed to enter the top 20 in Austria, the Netherlands and the UK.
1998–1999: More
No Mercy's second album, More, which was released in Germany on October 12, 1998,[11]included singles such as "Hello How Are You", "More than a Feeling" (originally recorded by Boston) and "Tu Amor" (originally by Jon B., and later covered also by RBD). Although More wasn't as successful as its predecessor, it still managed to achieve success in the GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), peaking at No.7, No.9, No.9 respectively.
2000–present: Singles and current status
In 2002, a single, "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" featuring guitarist Al Di Meola, was released to gauge support for No Mercy's third album.
The record producer decided instead to rework the songs for solo artist Daniel Lopes' debut album, Shine On, in 2003.
The band would guest feature in that album, on the track "Summer Angel".[citation needed]
In October 2007, No Mercy released their third album, Day By Day, under a new Australian-based independent record label, Show No Mercy Entertainment Pty Ltd, and via iTunes.
On December 16, 2011 No Mercy released the single "Shed My Skin" featuring Stan Kolev via iTunes

Biography
Marty always wanted to become a Pop-Singer and so, at the age of twelve, he already got his first guitar for Christmas. After College he left New York to find his luck in Las Vegas. There he performed as a Karaoke-Singer for six months in "The Dune's Casino". Later he toured with a group called J Men as singer, guitarist and comedian through Japan. As nothing brought the wished success, Marty finally moved to Miami/Florida, where he got a job as entertainer in a Beach-Café at Ocean Drive No. 9. There he played Top-40-Hits with his guitar.
By chance, one evening the famous German producer Frank Farian, who just was on vacation in Miami, came by and heard Marty singing. He was so impressed by his voice that he urged him to work with him.
Marty said yes - provided that he could found a real band together with his friends Ariel and Gabriel Hernandez. He knew the twins from Ocean Drive where they jobbed as dancers in Clubs.
Ariel and Gabriel came from Cuba to America with their family at the age of eleven. After High-School they began to work as dancers in the "Stinger's" Club. Later they toured the US as background singers with different artists. Finally, they found the band Gemini and got a record deal but the single of the same name was a flop. One evening they had a performance at Prince's "Glam Slam" Club in Miami.
By chance, Prince came by to search for new talents. Immediately, he offered both to perform as dancers in his video Pussy Control. Later, the twins even performed together with him on stage at the "Glam Slam". When they heard that Frank Farian, the producer of Boney M. und Milli Vanilli, wanted to produce them, they were enthusiastic.
Since their foundation in July 1995, No Mercy were very successful all over the world. Their first album was sold millions of times (four times double platinum, seven times platinum and eight times gold) and the world-wide fan community is growing constantly. Maybe it's because of No Mercy's unique sound - a mixture of Gipsy-King-like guitars and eurodance elements.
All the same it's not that Ariel, Gabriel and Marty always want to get more successful and sell more CD's.
It's very important for them still to have a grade of anonymity. " We still can walk on the street without a bunch of bodyguards and without being recognized by everyone. That's very important to us! I don't want to hide from the public one day like Michael Jackson has to. This price for the success would be to high for me!" says Ariel.
