Hi Ken, do you mean that you're gonna move to Vegas soon?..If it is, that sounds terrific. But i'm not sure what the meaning of "cards"is...Does it sort of contract between you and your company?

Smiley. I was simply making a poor joke. The phrase "settle for" means to compromise. What I meant to say was that if I cannot go see April in Paris, I would be content with simply being in Las Vegas in November..
And the phrase "not in the cards" makes a reference to a poker game, and it means that it was not meant to (or fated to) happen, and I have no such luck... So What I meant to say was that being in Las Vegas in November is not likely to happen anyway...^^ Sorry. I think I just made a mess of ...
hhh, poor smiley.... Ken, I didn't read the liric carefully so I couldn't catch what you meant...sorry about this. Because you're very fluent in English I thought there's some other meaning in "cards" that I don't know. :) Thanks for your kind explanation!!
This is beautiful picture and beautiful music, it just goes so well together.... especially this time of the year. Hmmmm, reminds me of those back streets covered with color changed leaves tossing around... Thanks,,, Ken.
