※ Bible: Mark 16:1-11.
※ Title: The Lord is our Savior.
Today, the third week of the Great Gangjeol, two weeks before Christmas when the Lord was born, is also coming to Daeso Presbyterian Church, and I respect and love you who worship with me in waiting for the Lord. Therefore, I bless you with grace and love in your name.
Today, the Lord is our savior. That's what I'm going to say under this title. That's right. You are our savior. From June 14 to June 23, 1910, the World Missionary Competition was held in Scotland of Edinburgh. The person who attended as a representative of Korea at the time was Missionary Samuel Moffett.
This is what he reported in the Joseon Mission Report. "I don't see politics, economy, education, and hope in Joseon. But there is one thing that shows hope. It's the spiritual revival and mission revival of the church," he reported. That's right. At that time, Korea was a country where there was no hope in any way, such as politics, economy, education, and culture.
However, one faith was a passionate country that no one could catch up with. When the church was built, it revived regardless of location. Whenever the chapel was built, it was full wherever it was built. So at that time, the goal of the Korean church was to build a good chapel. So I built a chapel even if I borrowed money.
It was like that not too long ago. At that time, most of the self-help of our people were produced from churches. This was a major blessing for our people. That's right. I am a pastor who believes that the greatest blessing God has given to men is Jesus. Because? Jesus is blessing, peace, and grace.
Please read the Bible. When Jesus came, he saved him with a dead screw. He also cured the sick. He even made the blind see. Therefore, I believe that all people should be religious even if they don't exist. In 1910, it was a country with nothing to our people. It was a wasteland that couldn't do anything.
The mountain was bare and only wood was firewood. The majority of the farmland was Cheonsudap Haneulgwaiting. I thought it was natural that poverty lacked food, clothes, and clothes. However, only one faith was passionate. Most churches had more evening worship meetings than Sunday worship services. The meeting of babies was double the number of adults. Wednesday's service was also full of full of worship services.
I had faith even if I didn't have them all. This was a sign of blessing. Even when choosing a groom, if it was judged that he had faith even if he didn't have it, it was just a pass. It was a really blessed country. That's right. I believe that even if there is no church, it is only when Jesus is present. No matter how large the chapel is, no matter how magnificent the building is, what if there is no Jesus? It's just a house.
This is exactly what Moffett, the CEO of the missionary in Korea, saw in 1910. He said that the faith that our people had was the hope of our people. I think our church has everything, but it's a matter of faith. If you don't have faith, do you accuse the pastor? If you don't have faith, do you interfere with worship?
How faithless do you have to throw your shoe toward the pastor's room? They did so because they didn't have God. That's why they file a false complaint without hesitation. Fortunately, our church lived because the general meeting stood up and judged correctly. That's right. What if you had faith? What would you have done?
That's right. Wait and see. If there is God, do it. What will you do with me? I would have said, "Try it." If I don't have faith, I have to step up because? It's because you can't live without me, and you can't live without me. I believe that there is hope for him, in the church, in the family, in our spirit, in the presence of Jesus.
What's wrong? This is because Jesus is the source of life. If there is life, it grows. It's developing. It's increasing. But what if there's no life? It's rotting. It's dying. It's going to shrink. Because? It's because I died. So the saints must have Jesus.
In other words, you must have faith even if you don't have all of them. Because? To live. You have to live somehow. If you die, you will be abandoned. You should all die too. Three days later, even if it rains cats and dogs, even if heavy snow falls and piles up, it doesn't matter if the ground freezes. I'm carrying it to the mountains. I bury it in the mountain.
It doesn't matter who he is. It doesn't matter if it's a mother with a lot of love. It doesn't matter if you're a good father. Oh, honey, I can't believe the tears like chicken poop. I have to go out of the house in three days. Therefore, you have to live and see. It's no use dying.
Therefore, I hope you trust Jesus well.I bless you in the name of the Lord. What's the way to live? In John 14:6, Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father's acceptance through me." I believe this as it is said. What's wrong? Because it's a word in the Bible.
If you look at 2Timothy 2:16-17,
(2Tm 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,(2Tm 3:17) so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
That's what he said. That's why I believe the church keeps the general and Daerimjeol that awaits Jesus. Therefore, I bless you in the name of the Lord to believe in Jesus well in order to live well and to be blessed. From now on, I will read what you said today and receive grace.
● Verse 1-3 is the word.
(Mk 16:1) When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.
(Mk 16:2) Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb
(Mk 16:3) and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
That's what he says.
The Lord, the hope of mankind and the hope of mankind, has died. That's why he was buried in the tomb provided by Joseph of Arimadae. That's the law of the world. The disciples wrapped Jesus' body in a semapo and held a funeral in a stone tomb that Joseph, a rich man, had prepared in advance to bury him when he died. Three days have passed.
Mary Magdalene, who loved the Lord when Jesus was alive, Maria, James' mother, and Salome thought of the Lord and prepared a few perfumes because they could not overcome their affection. And on the third day, when the sun rose, he headed toward the Lord's tomb early in the morning and headed for his steps. The Lord is already dead, but how? What is it? I wanted to do it for you.
As they went, they were worried. This is because there was no way to roll a large stone blocked in front of the tomb, even though we were taking perfume. That's right. There are times when we want to serve the Lord, but there is no way. What should I do then? That's right. There's no way, but don't give up.
And it's hard, but how do you do it? Then, I believe that the Holy Spirit helps next. Mary Magdalene, James' mother, Maria, and Salome prepared some perfumes in consideration of the Lord. And it's early in the morning when the sun rises, so it's dawn. He headed to the grave of the Lord. This is the best they can do. by the way
● Let's take a look at verse 4-6.
(Mk 16:4) But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled
(Mk 16:5) As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
(Mk 16:6) "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.
That's what he says. What are you saying? It's the fourth verse 4. Do <But when they looked up, they saw that stone, why was very large, had been rolled away.> What a surprise. They just went toward the tomb with a loving heart toward the Lord. But what happened? The stone was already rolled. The important thing is that they loved the Lord.
There is a point of speaking. That's right. The Lord's work is not done by my own strength. And my common sense is not necessarily right. There is a way to the Lord. So trust the Lord and just try it. And trust the Lord and just go. I believe it will be released in a place we didn't think of. The women entered the open tombs. There was no Jesus. There was a young man in white.
The women were surprised to see him. That's right. I believe that the Lord is the one who gives us blessings and grace that surprise us with good things as we go by faith. The young man said. "Don't be alarmed," he said, "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crude. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they are.
That's right. Jesus survived. And he went somewhere for those who believed. Therefore, I bless you in the name of the Lord, believing in him, relying on him, and starting a journey of faith. I believe this life is a religious life.
● 7-8 verses.
(Mk 16:7) But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'"
(Mk 16:8) Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.
That's what he says.
That's right. Jesus went to Galilee, where he called us before us. The Lord has kept his promise. Therefore, the angel says to us, "But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going to head of you in Galilee. There you will see him, just as he holds you.'" What do you mean?
That's right. The mission of the saints is to testify to the living Jesus and the resurrected Jesus. Who should I send it to? It's for those who believe and those who don't. But the women were scared and nervous, so they couldn't tell anyone. But it's okay. Don't blame yourself for not being able to evangelize. As long as you want to do it. What's wrong? Because the Lord has a way.
● Look at the 9th verse.
(Mk 16:9) When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
That's what he says.
That's right. The Lord visited him personally. They visit themselves to show themselves to their loved ones and call out their loved ones.
Everyone! You look back on yourself. Why did you come to church? Why are you coming to church? No one even gives you money. It doesn't give you much honor. Being an elder, deacon, and butler? It's just an order to work when you see it. But why do you go to church?
I can only explain that my coming to church is purely God's grace. All the people from my hometown. That's what he says. Lee Raehyuk attending church and becoming a pastor...They said it was fascinating. It's amazing that I was born in Boeun. Everyone's attendance at Seongok Church, going to Daejeon Theological Seminary, going to Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and working as a pastor of Daeso Church can only be explained differently by the grace of God.
So when I drive long distances, there is a hymn that I sing while crying and laughing in excitement. Daniel Webster Whittle, (1840-1901), a 310-page hymn written by the pastor.
1. I know not why God's won-drous grace To me He hath made Known,Nor why, un-wor-thy, Christ in love Re-deemed me for His own.But "I know whom I have be-liev-ed, and am per-suad-ed that He is a-ble
2. I know not how this sav-ing faith To me He did im-part,Nor how be-liev-ing in His Word Wrought peace with-in my heart. But "I know whom I have be-liev-ed, and am per-suad-ed that He is a-bleTo keep
3. I know not how the Spir-it moves, Con-vinc-ing men of sin,Re-veal-ing Je-sus through the Word, Cre-at-ing faith in Him.But "I know whom I have be-liev-ed, and am per-suad-ed that He is a-bleTo
4. I know not what of good or ill May be re-served for me,Of wea-ry ways or gold-en days, Be-fore His face I see.But "I know whom I have be-liev-ed, and am per-suad-ed that He is a-bleTo keep that wh
That's right. I'm really, really happy to sing this hymn. That's right. I really really don't know. Everyone is God's grace. So, last Thursday was my birthday (11.6th lunar calendar). I finished worshiping on Wednesday, and the elders, deaconesses, and butlers are having my birthday party. It means that you're going to do it one day earlier. Thank you so much.
After eating all, a child gossip contest was naturally held. The instructor changed it from time to time. But after listening to all the strange things, it ended with a contest to brag about my children. It was really fascinating. This seemed to be the teacher of those who became parents. That's right. No matter what happens, my parents are my parents.
As such, no matter what we think and how we live, I believe that the one Lord who attends church is our savior. Therefore, we are happy and comfortable only with the Lord. I believe that the Lord is happy because of us. What's wrong?Because the Lord is our savior. What's wrong?
If you look at Luke 2:13-14,
(Lk 2:13) Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
(Lk 2:14) "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
That's what he says. What do you mean? I believe that the Lord himself is an honor to God and peace to us on the ground.
That's why I ask you to sleep peacefully and well when you sleep. That way, you can sleep well. And when I wake up, the Lord! Let me live with the Lord again today! I pray and start. There is no exception to anything. After living like that, the day is usually happy.
And from then on, no one is scared or afraid of anything. Sometimes I praise him like this. It's a praise song for 350:3.
3. Though the dev-il's e-vil host Be awe-some to the sight,Je-sus, our Com-mand-er, goes Be-fore us in the fight.Vic-to-ry is sure take heart! Let noth-ing you af-fright;Joy will come at last in f the war is won,March-ing on-ward, vic-tors for-ev-er.
After singing the hymns, I still get a lot of energy. Therefore, I bless you in the name of the Lord to make hymns a part of your life.
● That's verse 10-11.
(Mk 16:10) She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.
(Mk 16:11) When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.
That's what he says. That's right. What if the Lord comes? I believe that a lot of things happen that the common sense of the world does not understand. Strangely, my heart is at peace, my entangled things are solved, my hateful person looks pretty, I'm grateful for what I was angry about, my body is getting better, I'm grateful for what I was upset about, I'm happy to look at the tree! It's fascinating.
Instead of saying that birds cry when they hear birds. The bird is singing. That's what happens. He reported that Jesus had survived, but his disciples did not believe it. Why didn't you believe me? It's a miracle if you believe it. How did the person who died and served as a merchant come back to life. It's a miracle if you believe it.
However, statistics show that 5.581 million people in Korea alone confess to believe this. I'm one of them. That's right. It's amazing that you let all the good people go and let people like me believe in Jesus. It's amazing that you make him a pastor, too. That's right. The Lord must come. The Lord is our savior. Aman!
Maranata, welcome!
