Tenute Ca’Botta - an Italian innovative winery that specializes in making dry wines from dried grapes in Valpolicella DOC, Veneto, in the northern part of Italy. Ca'Botta's strong-bodied, rich in taste and elegantly balanced wines are awarded at international contests and annually receiving high marks from such wine critics as Luca Maroni and Luca Gardini.

Using its own winemaking technologies in grapes growing, wine fermentation and maceration, the patented tank Fermentino Ca'Botta® and a mix of traditional winemaking techniques gives you the exceptional wines of Tenute Ca'Botta.

Top winemaking at 500 meters
Strong winds
Strong winds at such an altitude dry the grapes. As a result, grapes can be harvested later, getting riper berries, making more saturated, stronger wine.
South-west slope of the hill
The abundance of the sun on the slope of Ca'Botta's vineyards makes it possible to grow excellent grapes, that with maturity do not lose their acidity. It is a necessary element for the creation of the best Ca'Botta wines.
380-520 meters above the sea level the height of the vineyards
Grapes grown at such height differ by their maturity, higher acidity, denser skin and are richer in tannins and antioxidants. On the hills, the water after the rainfall immediately goes down into the valley. As a result, grapes do not gain moisture and berries do not lose the sugar concentration after autumn rains. Strong winds at such altitudes dry the grapes. As a result, grapes can be harvested later, getting riper berries, making more saturated, stronger wine with a greater potential for its storage.
