천국에 없는 것 14가지 = 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니(계21:4)

~저 하늘에는~

저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 슬픔도 없네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 승리만 있네 고통은 모두다 사라져 버리고

영광만 가득하겠네 우리의 주님과 나 함께 있을때

영원한 기쁨 넘치네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 기쁨 넘치네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 찬송 넘치네 세상의 근심은 사라져 버리고

영광만 가득하겠네 우리의 주님과 나 함께 있들때

영원한 기쁨 넘치네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 즐거움 있네 저 하늘에는 눈물이 없네

거기는 사랑 넘치네 인간의 욕심은 사라져 버리고

영광만 가득하겠네 우리의 주님과 나 함께 있을때

영원한 기쁨 넘치네

본문 : 계21:1~4

1 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 2 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 준비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 3 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 이르되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 그들과 함께 계시리니 그들은 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 그들과 함께 계셔서 4 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아 주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라

1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea. 2 Then I saw New Jerusalem, that holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice shout from the throne: God's home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people. 4 He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

1. 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없다.

계21:1 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라

I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea.

벧후3:6~13

6 이로 말미암아 그 때에 세상은 물이 넘침으로 멸망하였으되 7 이제 하늘과 땅은 그 동일한 말씀으로 불사르기 위하여 보호하신 바 되어 경건하지 아니한 사람들의 심판과 멸망의 날까지 보존하여 두신 것이니라 8 사랑하는 자들아 주께는 하루가 천 년 같고 천 년이 하루 같다는 이 한 가지를 잊지 말라 9 주의 약속은 어떤 이들이 더디다고 생각하는 것 같이 더딘 것이 아니라 오직 주께서는 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사 아무도 멸망하지 아니하고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라 10 그러나 주의 날이 도둑 같이 오리니 그 날에는 하늘이 큰 소리로 떠나가고 물질이 뜨거운 불에 풀어지고 땅과 그 중에 있는 모든 일이 드러나리로다 11 이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하냐 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로 12 하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라 그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 물질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와 13 우리는 그의 약속대로 의가 있는 곳인 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다

6 Later it was destroyed by the waters of a mighty flood. 7 But God has commanded the present heavens and earth to remain until the day of judgment. Then they will be set on fire, and ungodly people will be destroyed. 8 Dear friends, don't forget that for the Lord one day is the same as a thousand years, and a thousand years is the same as one day. 9 The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost. 10 The day of the Lord's return will surprise us like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a loud noise, and the heat will melt the whole universe. Then the earth and everything on it will be seen for what they are. 11 Everything will be destroyed. So you should serve and honor God by the way you live. 12 You should look forward to the day when God judges everyone, and you should try to make it come soon. On that day the heavens will be destroyed by fire, and everything else will melt in the heat. 13 But God has promised us a new heaven and a new earth, where justice will rule. We are really looking forward to that!

2. 천국에는 죄인이 없다. 어린 양의 피에 그 옷을 씻어 희게 하지 않은 자는 없다.

계7:13~17

13 장로 중 하나가 응답하여 나에게 이르되 이 흰 옷 입은 자들이 누구며 또 어디서 왔느냐 14 내가 말하기를 내 주여 당신이 아시나이다 하니 그가 나에게 이르되 이는 큰 환난에서 나오는 자들인데 어린 양의 피에 그 옷을 씻어 희게 하였느니라 15 그러므로 그들이 하나님의 보좌 앞에 있고 또 그의 성전에서 밤낮 하나님을 섬기매 보좌에 앉으신 이가 그들 위에 장막을 치시리니

13 One of the elders asked me, "Do you know who these people are that are dressed in white robes? Do you know where they come from?" 14 "Sir," I answered, "you must know."Then he told me: "These are the ones who have gone through the great suffering. They have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and have made them white. 15 And so they stand before the throne of God and worship him in his temple day and night. The one who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.

엡1:7 우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 속량 곧 죄 사함을 받았느니라

Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven.

3. 천국에는 성령으로 거듭나지 않은 자는 없다. 하나님의 인침을 받지 않은 자는 없다.

계7:4 내가 인침을 받은 자의 수를 들으니 이스라엘 자손의 각 지파 중에서 인침을 받은 자들이 십사만 사천이니

Then I heard how many people had been marked on the forehead. There were one hundred forty-four thousand, and they came from every tribe of Israel

고후1:22그가 또한 우리에게 인치시고 보증으로 우리 마음에 성령을 주셨느니라

and put his Spirit in our hearts to show that we belong only to him.

고후5:5 곧 이것을 우리에게 이루게 하시고 보증으로 성령을 우리에게 주신 이는 하나님이시니라

God is the one who makes all of this possible. He has given us his Spirit to make us certain that he will do it.

엡1:13 그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니

Christ also brought you the truth, which is the good news about how you can be saved. You put your faith in Christ and were given the promised Holy Spirit to show that you belong to God.

4. 천국에는 어린 양의 생명책에 기록되지 않은 자는 없다.

계21:27 무엇이든지 속된 것이나 가증한 일 또는 거짓말하는 자는 결코 그리로 들어가지 못하되 오직 어린 양의 생명책에 기록된 자들만 들어가리라

But nothing unworthy will be allowed to enter. No one who is dirty-minded or who tells lies will be there. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will be in the city.

눅10:20 그러나 귀신들이 너희에게 항복하는 것으로 기뻐하지 말고 너희 이름이 하늘에 기록된 것으로 기뻐하라 하시니라

But don't be happy because evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven!

5. 천국에는 사탄 마귀가 없다.

계20:10 또 그들을 미혹하는 마귀가 불과 유황 못에 던져지니 거기는 그 짐승과 거짓 선지자도 있어 세세토록 밤낮 괴로움을 받으리라

Then the devil who fooled them will be thrown into the lake of fire and burning sulfur. He will be there with the beast and the false prophet, and they will be in pain day and night forever and ever.

6. 천국에는 마귀의 자식들은 없다.

마8:44 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심대로 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 그는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 그가 거짓말쟁이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이라

Your father is the devil, and you do exactly what he wants. He has always been a murderer and a liar. There is nothing truthful about him. He speaks on his own, and everything he says is a lie. Not only is he a liar himself, but he is also the father of all lies.

요일3:10 이러므로 하나님의 자녀들과 마귀의 자녀들이 드러나나니 무릇 의를 행하지 아니하는 자나 또는 그 형제를 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님께 속하지 아니하니라

You can tell God's children from the devil's children, because those who belong to the devil refuse to do right or to love each other.

골1:13 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니

God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son,

7. 천국에는 사망과 음부가 없다. 즉 둘째 사망 곧 불못이 없다. 

계21:4 다시는 사망이 없고

계20:14~15

14 사망과 음부도 불못에 던져지니 이것은 둘째 사망 곧 불못이라 15 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던져지더라

14 Afterwards, death and its kingdom were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name wasn't written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

마25:46 그들은 영벌에, 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라

Then Jesus said, "Those people will be punished forever. But the ones who pleased God will have eternal life."

고전15:26 맨 나중에 멸망 받을 원수는 사망이니라

the last enemy he destroys will be death.

고전15:55 사망아 너의 승리가 어디 있느냐 사망아 네가 쏘는 것이 어디 있느냐

Where is its victory? Where is its sting?"

8. 천국에는 굶주림, 목마름, 해나 아무 뜨거운 기운에 상함의 고통이 없다.

계7:16~17

16 그들이 다시는 주리지도 아니하며 목마르지도 아니하고 해나 아무 뜨거운 기운에 상하지도 아니하리니 17 이는 보좌 가운데에 계신 어린 양이 그들의 목자가 되사 생명수 샘으로 인도하시고 하나님께서 그들의 눈에서 모든 눈물을 씻어 주실 것임이라

16 They will never hunger or thirst again, and they won't be troubled by the sun or any scorching heat. 17 The Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to streams of life-giving water, and God will wipe all tears from their eyes."

9. 천국에는 눈물, 사망, 애통함, 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 없다.

계21:4 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아 주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라

He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

10. 천국에는 저주가 없고, 밤이 없다.

계22:3~5

3 다시 저주가 없으며 하나님과 그 어린 양의 보좌가 그 가운데에 있으리니 그의 종들이 그를 섬기며 4 그의 얼굴을 볼 터이요 그의 이름도 그들의 이마에 있으리라 5 다시 밤이 없겠고 등불과 햇빛이 쓸 데 없으니 이는 주 하나님이 그들에게 비치심이라 그들이 세세토록 왕 노릇 하리로다

3 God's curse will no longer be on the people of that city. He and the Lamb will be seated there on their thrones, and its people will worship God 4 and will see him face to face. God's name will be written on the foreheads of the people. 5 Never again will night appear, and no one who lives there will ever need a lamp or the sun. The Lord God will be their light, and they will rule forever.

11. 천국에는 이 땅의 통치자들과 권세들과 큰 성 바벨론이 없다(골2:15).

계18:21 이에 한 힘 센 천사가 큰 맷돌 같은 돌을 들어 바다에 던져 이르되 큰 성 바벨론이 이같이 비참하게 던져져 결코 다시 보이지 아니하리로다

A powerful angel then picked up a huge stone and threw it into the sea. The angel said, "This is how the great city of Babylon will be thrown down, never to rise again.

12. 천국에는 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 음행하는 자들과 점술가들과 우상 숭배자들과 거짓말하는 모든 자들이 없다.

계21:8 그러나 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 음행하는 자들과 점술가들과 우상 숭배자들과 거짓말하는 모든 자들은 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 던져지리니 이것이 둘째 사망이라

But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful or dirty-minded or who murders or is sexually immoral or uses witchcraft or worships idols or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death.

13. 천국에는 속된 것이나 가증한 일 또는 거짓말하는 자가 없다.

계21:27 무엇이든지 속된 것이나 가증한 일 또는 거짓말하는 자는 결코 그리로 들어가지 못하되 오직 어린 양의 생명책에 기록된 자들만 들어가리라

But nothing unworthy will be allowed to enter. No one who is dirty-minded or who tells lies will be there. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will be in the city.

14. 천국에는 개들과 점술가들과 음행하는 자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자가 없다.

계22:15 개들과 점술가들과 음행하는 자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자는 다 성 밖에 있으리라

But outside the city will be dogs, witches, immoral people, murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves to tell lies and do wrong.

15. 왜 죽음을 두려워하는가?

진리를 모르니까 두려워하는 것이다. 진리를 알면 두려워하지 않는다. 오히려 자유하게 된다.

그리스도인들이여! 죽음의 두려움이 들 때마다 이 약속의 말씀을 읽고, 또 읽으면서 믿음으로 승리하시기 바랍니다.

요8:32 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

요14:1~3

1 너희는 마음에 근심하지 말라 하나님을 믿으니 또 나를 믿으라 2 내 아버지 집에 거할 곳이 많도다 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 일렀으리라 내가 너희를 위하여 거처를 예비하러 가노니 3 가서 너희를 위하여 거처를 예비하면 내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라

1 Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me. 2 There are many rooms in my Father's house. I wouldn't tell you this, unless it was true. I am going there to prepare a place for each of you. 3 After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.
