Mostly, <b>LM1xx</b> indicates military-grade temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, <b>LM2xx</b> indicates industrial-grade temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C and <b>LM3xx</b> indicates commercial temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C.</p><p><sup><br></sup></p><p>Some of the obsolete parts are continued to be manufactured by different companies other than the original manufacturer, e.g. Fairchild Semiconductor.</p><sup></sup><p><br></p><p><br></p>
