행 2:1 <성령 강림> 오순절이 되어서, 그들은 모두 한 곳에 모였다.

행 2:2 그 때에 갑자기 세찬 바람이 부는 듯한 소리가 하늘에서 나더니, 그들이 앉아 있는 온 집안을 가득 채웠다.

행 2:3 그리고 그들에게 불길이 솟아오르는 것과 같은 혀들이 갈래갈래 갈라지면서 나타나더니, 각 사람 위에 내려앉았다.

행 2:4 그들이 모두 성령으로 충만해서 성령이 시키는 대로 각각 다른 방언으로 말하기 시작하였다.

행 2:5 예루살렘에는 경건한 유대 사람이 세계 각국으로부터 와서 살았다.

행 2:6 그런데 이런 말소리가 나니, 많은 사람이 모여 와서, 각각 자기네 지방의 말로 제자들이 말하는 것을 듣고서, 어리둥절하였다.

행 2:7 그들은 놀라서 신기하게 여기며 말하였다. "보십시오, 말하고 있는 이 사람들은 모두 갈릴리 사람이 아니오 ?

행 2:8 그런데 우리 모두가 저마다 태어난 지방의 말로 듣고 있으니, 어찌 된 일이오 ?

행 2:9 우리는 바대 사람과 메대 사람과 엘람 사람이고, 메소포타미아와 유대와 갑바도기아와 본도와 아시아와

행 2:10 브루기아와 밤빌리아와 이집트와 구레네 근처 리비아의 여러 지역에 사는 사람이고, 또 나그네로 머물고 있는 로마 사람과

행 2:11 유대 사람과 유대교에 개종한 사람과 크레타 사람과 아라비아 사람인데, 우리는 저들이 하나님의 큰일들을 우리 각자의 말로 이야기하는 것을 듣고 있소"

행 2:12 사람들은 모두 놀라서, 어쩔 줄을 몰라 "이게 도대체 어찌 된 일이오 ?"하면서, 서로 말하였다.

행 2:13 그런데 더러는 조롱하면서 "그들이 새 술에 취하였다. "하고 말하는 사람도 있었다.

행 2:14 <베드로의 오순절 설교> 베드로가 열한 사도와 함께 일어나서, 목소리를 높여, 그들에게 엄숙하게 말하였다. "유대 사람과 모든 예루살렘 주민 여러분, 이것을 아시기 바랍니다. 내 말에 귀를 기울이십시오.

행 2:15 지금은 d아침 아홉 시입니다. 그러니 이 사람들은 여러분이 생각하듯이 술에 취한 것이 아닙니다. (d. 그, 제 삼 시)

행 2:16 이 일은 하나님께서 예언자 요엘을 시켜서 말씀하신 대로 된 것입니다.

행 2:17 e"하나님께서 말씀하셨다. 마지막 날에 나는 내 영을 모든 사람에게 부어 주겠다. 아들과 딸들은 예언을 하고, 젊은이들은 환상을 보고, 나이 든 사람들은 꿈을 꿀 것이다. (e. 욜2:28-32(70인역))

행 2:18 그 날에 나는 내 영을 내 남종과 여종에게 부어 주겠으니, 그들도 예언을 할 것이다.

행 2:19 또 나는 위로 하늘에서는 기이한 일을 나타내고, 아래로 땅에서는 표적을 나타낼 것이니, 그것은 곧 피와 불과 자욱한 연기다.

행 2:20 주의 크고 영화로운 날이 오기 전에, 해는 변해서 어둠이 되고, 달은 변해서 피가 될 것이다.

행 2:21 그러나 주의 이름을 부르는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이다.

행 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

행 2:2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

행 2:3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

행 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

행 2:5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

행 2:6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

행 2:7 Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?

행 2:8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

행 2:9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

행 2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome

행 2:11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs--we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"

행 2:12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"

행 2:13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine."

행 2:14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.

행 2:15 These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!

행 2:16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

행 2:17 "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

행 2:18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

행 2:19 I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

행 2:20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

행 2:21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

창 11:1-9

창 11:1 <바벨 탑> 처음에 세상에는 언어가 하나뿐이어서, 모두가 같은 말을 썼다.

창 11:2 사람들이 동쪽으로 이동하여 오다가 시날 땅 한 들판에 이르러서, 거기에 자리를 잡았다.

창 11:3 그들은 서로 말하였다. "자, 벽돌을 빚어서, 단단히 구워내자" 사람들은 돌 대신에 벽돌을 쓰고, 흙 대신에 역청을 썼다.

창 11:4 그들은 또 말하였다. "자, 도시를 세우고, 그 안에 탑을 쌓고서, 탑 꼭대기가 하늘에 닿게 하여, 우리의 이름을 날리고, 온 땅 위에 흩어지지 않게 하자."

창 11:5 주께서는 사람들이 짓고 있는 도시와 탑을 보려고 내려오셨다.

창 11:6 주께서 말씀하셨다. "보아라, 만일 사람들이 같은 말을 쓰는 한 백성으로서, 이렇게 이런 일을 하기 시작하였으니 이제 그들은, 하고자 하는 것은 무엇이든지, 하지 못할 일이 없을 것이다.

창 11:7 자, 우리가 내려가서 그들이 거기에서 하는 말을 뒤섞어서, 그들이 서로 알아듣지 못하게 하자."

창 11:8 주께서 거기에서 그들을 온 땅으로 흩으셨다. 그래서 그들은 도시 세우는 일을 그만두었다.

창 11:9 주께서 거기에서 온 세상의 말을 b뒤섞으셨다고 하여, 사람들은 그 곳의 이름을 c바벨이라고 한다. 주께서 거기에서 사람들을 온 땅에 흩으셨다. (b. 발랄(뒤섞다) c. 바벨론을 가리킴. "뒤섞다"라는 뜻을 지닌 발랄과 바빌론을 뜻하는 바벨의 발음이 비슷함)

창 11:1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech.

창 11:2 As men moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.

창 11:3 They said to each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar.

창 11:4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."

창 11:5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building.

창 11:6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.

창 11:7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."

창 11:8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

창 11:9 That is why it was called Babel--because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

시 104:24 주님, 주께서 손수 만드신 것이, 어찌 이리도 많습니까 ? 이 모든 것을 주께서 지혜로 만드셨으니, 땅에는 주님이 지으신 것으로 가득합니다.

시 104:25 저 크고 넓은 바다에는, 크고 작은 고기들이 헤아릴 수 없이 우글거립니다.

시 104:26 물 위로는 배들도 오가며, 주님이 지으신 리워야단도 그 속에서 놉니다.

시 104:27 이 모든 피조물이 주님만 바라보며, 때를 따라서 먹이 주시기를 기다랍니다.

시 104:28 주께서 그들에게 먹이를 주시면, 그들은 받아 먹고, 주께서 공급하여 주시면 그들은 좋은 것으로 배를 불립니다.

시 104:29 그러나 주께서 얼굴을 숨기시면 그들은 떨면서 두려워하고, 주께서 호흡을 거두어들이시면 그들은 죽어서 본래의 흙으로 돌아갑니다.

시 104:34 내 기도를 주님이 기꺼이 받아 주시면 좋으련만 ! 그러면 나는 주의 품 안에서 즐겁기만 할 것이다.

시 104:35 죄인들아, 이 땅에서 사라져라. 악인들아, 너희도 영원히 사라져라. 내 영혼아, 주님을 찬송하여라. b할렐루야. (b. 또는 주를 찬송하여라. 70인역은 여기에서부터 105편이 시작 됨)

시 104:24 How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

시 104:25 There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number--living things both large and small.

시 104:26 There the ships go to and fro, and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.

시 104:27 These all look to you to give them their food at the proper time.

시 104:28 When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.

시 104:29 When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.

시 104:30 When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.

시 104:31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works--

시 104:32 he who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches the mountains, and they smoke.

시 104:33 I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

시 104:34 May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD.

시 104:35 But may sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more. Praise the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD.

요 14:10 내가 아버지 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계심을 네가 믿지 않느냐 ? 내가 너희에게 하는 말은 내 마음대로 하는 것이 아니다. 아버지께서 내 안에 계시면서 자기의 일을 하신다.

요 14:11 내가 아버지 안에 있고, 아버지께서 내 안에 계심을 믿어라. 믿지 못하겠거든, 내가 하는 그 일들을 보아서라도 믿어라.

요 14:12 내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 나를 믿는 사람은 내가 하는 일을 할 것이요, 그보다 더 큰 일도 할 것이다. 그것은 내가 아버지께로 가기 때문이다.

요 14:13 너희가 내 이름으로 구하는 것은 내가 무엇이든지 다 이루어 주겠다. 이것은 아들로 말미암아 아버지께서 영광을 받으시게 하려는 것이다.

요 14:15 <보혜사를 약속하시다> "너희가 나를 사랑하면 내 계명을 지킬 것이다.

요 14:16 내가 아버지께 구하겠다. 그러면 아버지께서 다른 e보혜사를 너희에게 보내셔서 영원히 너희와 함께 있게 하실 것이다. (e. 변호해 주시는 분. 또는 도와주시는 분.)

요 14:17 그분은 진리의 영이시다. 세상은 그분을 보지도 못하고 알지도 못하므로, 그분을 맞아들일 수가 없다. 그러나 너희는 그분을 안다. 그것은 그분이 너희와 함께 계시고 또 너희 안에 계시기 때문이다.

요 14:25 내가 너희와 함께 있는 동안에 나는 너희에게 말하였다.

요 14:27 나는 평화를 너희에게 남겨 준다. 나는 내 평화를 너희에게 준다. 내가 주는 평화는 세상이 주는 평화와 같은 것이 아니다. 너희는 마음에 근심하지 말고, 두려워하지도 말아라.

요 14:8 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

요 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

요 14:10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

요 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

요 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

요 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

요 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

요 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.

요 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--

요 14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

요 14:25 "All this I have spoken while still with you.

요 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

요 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
