<p><b>Summary:</b></p><p>Although Jesus performed many other signs not recorded in this book, these particular ones were written so that readers may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, they may have life in His name.</p><p> </p><p><b>Teaching:</b></p><p> </p><p>“But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.”</p><p> </p><p>The Bible was written so that we may believe in Jesus. This applies to all of Scripture. Jesus is the Son of God—He is God. The Jesus whom the disciples confessed is God.</p><p> </p><p>In this world, the devil and demons fear Jesus the most. They are powerless before Him. Jesus overcame the power of death and Hades, and He holds the keys to death and Hades. Therefore, the world, the demons, and the devil - who belong to death and Hades - are helpless before Jesus.  Thus, if we want to receive salvation while living in this world, we must believe in Jesus.</p><p> </p><p>Everything Jesus does and says is the truth. He is full of truth and bestows grace upon us. That is why, when we believe in Jesus, we cannot help but gain life.</p><p> </p><p>The Bible is a book that gives us faith to receive salvation.
