Follow the next day, the next day, and the next day.
“The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29)
Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” (John 1:35, 36)
The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and found Philip, and said to him, Follow me. (John 1:43)
And Nathanael answered, Rabbi, you are the Son of God, and you are the King of Israel.(John 1:49)
Jesus answered, Because I said to you,‘I saw you under the fig tree, believe you? You shaill see greater things than these. And he said, Verily, verily, I say to you, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man." (John 1:50- 51)
The next day (John 1:29), the next day (John 1:35), the next day (John 1:43), that is, the third day.
John the Baptist's testimony on the first and second days is different, and on the third day, John the Baptist is silent and the Lord speaks directly.
John 1:51 "And he said, Verily, verily, I say to you, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."
On the third day (John 2:1), at the wedding feast in Cana, water was changed into wine by the word of the Lord, and the words that interpreted the event were: Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days (John 2:19).
The temple is, of course, a means of approaching the throne of God's grace.
Otherwise, it is not a temple but just a building where people gather.
It is after the third day that we are born again, that is, born of water and the Spirit (John 3:5), become a temple, and worship in the Spirit and truth (John 4:24).
The problem is that many people only know and believe in Jesus on the first day.
They are told to believe only in Jesus, who is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29).
That is why they emphasize day and night only the merits of Jesus hanging on the cross.
There is no revelation.
All that happens after the cross is that the Lord was raised, went to heaven, and he will comes back.
But look at the testimony of John the Baptist on the second next day.
It says, “Behold the Lamb of God” (John 1:36).
By the first next day, the sins of the world were removed.
In Revelation chapters 4 and 5, Christ, the Lamb, sits on the heavenly throne, and all spirit creatures worship and praise him.
John the Baptist testified that Jesus of Nazareth was the Lamb through revelation.
This is also a great.
John the Baptist, under the law, cannot follow the Lord, but his disciples Andrew and Peter live with the Lord, so they know Christ and follow the Lord (John 1:37)
And the Lord prophesies that Peter, Simon, will become Cephas, the rock (John 1:42).
After the descent of the Holy Spirit, Peter actually had rock-like faith.
We even call his epistles 1 and 2 Peter the Rock Epistles.
Why are Christians complaining and slandering each other because there is no change?
This is because we are only looking at the Lord on the first day.
The leaven of the Catholic Church, which only looked at Jesus hanging on the cross, is still full of every church.
Only the wood remains of the cross and the tomb is empty, but people are still looking at the picture of Jesus hanging on the cross and saying, “Lord, Lord.”
After the Lord suffered on the cross and the glory that followed (1 Peter 1:11), becoming the Lamb who sits at the right hand of God's throne, He sent the Holy Spirit in us and now we becomes one with Christ in the Holy Spirit and truth, the gate of heaven to God the Father have been opened.
The words of the third next day came true.
These words do not refer to the Second Coming for the future White Throne Judgment.
When the Holy Spirit comes in us and lets us know that we are seated with the Lord in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), if we fully understand Jesus Christ, the apostle and high priest of our faith (Hebrews 3:1), we will not look at the cross, but the way to the throne of grace is clearly visible.
Of course, a long and patient process of self-disposal in Christ is necessary...
Such spiritual knowledge comes through revelation, the illumination of the Holy Spirit.
Revelation comes with faith in the words of those who have revelation , while listening to them.
Therefore, it is important to listen, believe as much as you hear, show as much as you believe, and follow the visible way to gain and gain life in the truth, thus functioning as a temple of your body to reach God the Father.
It will begin on the third day.
The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)
Grace is a promise already predestined in Jesus Christ and fulfilled through Christ.
However, depending on what you hear, you can have faith in the blood shed on the cross, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and waiting for the Second coming, etc., or you can be saved by believing that it is grace that you were transferred from Adam into Christ through the Lord's death and being raised up, and were caught up with the Lord in heaven and seated there (Ephesians 2:8).
Through obedience to the atonement merits of the cross of Christ, the indwelling, inspiration, influence, and filling of the Holy Spirit are fulfilled.
Because the Holy Spirit is the truth and makes us know the truth, we can finally receive and enjoy the received grace of living filled with grace upon grace based on the grace given through the truth.
Therefore, grace is the fulfillment of the promise already given in Christ, and in Christ, approaching God the Father according to the truth is the acquisition of the promise that will be fulfilled and the principle of reaching the completion of salvation.
So we move toward holiness through truth, glory through holiness, oneness through glory, perfection through oneness, and through perfection we advance toward love. (John 17)
So love is the end of evolution.
