Being very calm and quiet without speaking... Article 253.   성품이 잠기여 고요하면 알게되며, 알게되면 잠잠해짐다. When one′s nature is deep and tranquil, one comes to understand;  once one understands, one becomes quiet and serene. 잠김이 능하면 멀리 이루고, 잠잠함으로 능히 어지러운 것을 진정시키는 것은 사람의 지혜가 순함이다.  If one excels in deep stillness, one achieves far-reaching outcomes;  being able to calm chaos through quietude demonstrates the purity of human wisdom. 사람의 지혜가 정해지면 심성영대가 관통하여 가히 사람들의 스승이 된다.  Once human wisdom becomes settled, one′s mind, nature,   and spiritual intellect become fully aligned,   making one worthy of becoming a teacher to others.  ......원문1....... 沈默(침묵) Section 1 : 沈默(침묵 - Silence / Silence 1) 性靜則沈하고 知遂則默이니 (성정즉침하고 지수즉묵이니)  If one′s nature is calm, it settles deeply;  if one′s knowledge reaches fulfillment, one becomes silent. 沈能成遠하고 默能鎭紊者는 順人智也라 (침능성원하고 묵능진문자는 순인지야라)  Being able to achieve far-reaching goals through deep stillness,   and calming chaos through ailence, is the smooth flow of human wisdom. 人智定則心靈이 貫通하여 可爲人師니라. (인지정즉심령이 관통하여 가위인사니라.)  When human wisdom becomes settled, the mind and spirit penetrate all things,   making one worthy of becoming a teacher to others. (出-참전계경,대종교요감,개천경,배달전서) Source Note :( Source : Chamjeon Gyegyeong, Daejonggyo Yogam,                           Gaecheon-gyeong, Baedal Jeonseo)  [Explanation, 풀이] 고구려의 시조 고주몽할아버지께서 고구려를 건국하시며 전한 경전인 개물교화경에는 253事(사) 沈默(침묵)과 상호연결이 되는 내용이 있다. In Gaemul Gyohwa-gyeong, the sacred scripture passed down  by Go Jumong(the founder ancestor of Goguryeo) when he established the kingdom, there is content interconnected with Article No. 253, "Silence(沈默(침묵). "즉 (철인)이 스스로를 비우고 온화한것은 계율에 뿌리를 두는것으로서  영원히 어긋난 기운(邪氣,사기)를 끊어 그 마음이 안락하고 태평하여  중생(衆人,중인)의 일마다 마땅함을 얻게된다."고 했다.  It states, "That is, a wise person emptying oneself and remaining gentle   is rooted in the precepts ; by permanently severing evil / perverse energy(邪氣,사기),   their mind attains comfort and peace, thereby bringing propriety to every affair   of the common people. 여기서 말하는 계율이란 곧 253事(사)임을 알수있다.   From this, it can be understood that the 'precepts' mentioned here refer to Article No. 253.
