3) 부자관계의 본질 - 3

인륜이 있는 반면 천륜이 있다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 인정이 있는 반면 천정이 있어야 될 것입니다. 하늘은 위고 땅은 아래라 할진대, 부모는 위와 마찬가지요, 자식은 아래와 마찬가지이기 때문에 상하관계에 있는 것입니다.

그러면 이 땅에 사는 사람이 자식이고 하늘이 부모라 할진대, 부모의 마음과 자녀의 마음은 방향이 상대적으로 되어 있는 것입니다. 부모는 사랑을 하려고 하고 자식은 사랑을 받으려고 하는 것입니다.

그렇지 않으면 부모가 사랑을 받을 수 있는 자리에 서든가 자식이 사랑할 수 있는 자리에 서든가 해야 합니다. 여기서 주고자 하는 마음과 받고자 하는 마음이 끊어지게 된다면 사랑은 성립되지 않는 것입니다. 

만일 주고자 하는 마음이 있는데 이것을 막는 길이 생기게 될 때는, 받고자 하더라도 받을 수 없는 것이 우리의 심정생활에 있어서, 가정에서 잘 체휼하는 것입니다.

그렇기 때문에 하늘은 위에 있고 땅은 아래에 있습니다. 부모는 위에 있고 자식은 아래에 있다 할진대 하나님과 인간관계에 있어서도 역시 마찬가지입니다.

하나님은 부모의 자리이기 때문에 우리 인간을 놓고는 위에 있는 것입니다, 그렇기 때문에 하나님은 인간을 사랑하게 마련입니다. (62- 18)

3) 父子関係の本質 - 3

人倫がある反面、天倫があるということを知っています。人情がある反面、天情がなくてはならないはずです。

天は上で地は下だと言うなら、父母は上と同じであり子女は下と同じなので、上下の関係にあるのです。

それでは、この地に住む人が子女で天が父母だと言うなら、父母の心と子女の心は方向が相対的になっているのです。

父母は愛そうとして子女は愛を受けようとするのです。そうでなければ、父母が愛を受けられる位置に立つか、子女が愛することのできる位置に立つかしなくてはなりません。

ここで、与えようとする心と受けようとする心が切れたら愛は成立しないのです。

もし与えようとする気持ちがあるのにこれを妨げる道が生じるときには、受けようとしても受けられないことを私たちの心情生活において、家庭においてよく体恤します。

それゆえ、天は上にあり地は下にあります。父母は上にあり子女は下にあると言うなら、神様と人間の関係においてもやはり同じです。

神様は父母の立場なので、私たち人間を前にしては上になるのです。それゆえ、神様は人間を愛するようになっているのです。（一九七二・九・一〇、前本部教会）

3) The Substance of the Father-Son Relationship - 3

We know that, as there are moral principles among men, there exists also a moral principle of heaven. If there is a deep heart among men, there must be a deep heart of heaven.

As heaven is above and earth is below, and as parents are above and children below, they are in "above and below" relationships.  

So, people on earth are in the children's position and heaven is in the position of parents. The direction of love between the heart of parents and the heart of children is from subject to object.

Parents try to love their children and children try to receive love. If not, parents' would stand in a position where they can receive love and children must then stand in a position where they can love their parents.

If there is a limit to a heart that wants to give and that wants to receive, love cannot exist. 

We have experiences in our families and in the life of the heart where, even when there is a giving heart, if something blocks it we cannot receive love even if we want to.

That is why heaven is above and earth is below. The parents exist above and the children below and it is the same with God and man.

God is in the parents' position, so he exists above human beings. That is why God loves man. (62-18)
