The Trump administration is firing more federal employees, this time at the nation's weather, ocean and fisheries agency.
More than a thousand wokers will be affected.
While most people know about the agency, its daily weather forecasts, NOAA also monitors and warns about hurricanes, tornados, floods and tsunamis.
It also manages the country's fisheries, runs marine sanctuaries, and provides navigation information to ships.
After this upcoming round of cuts, NOAA will have eliminated one out of four jobs since President Donald Trump took office in January.
