Refresh yourself with tea, crafts

Swinging in Seoul
Golf is hard, and you can only grind so much. For golfers in Seoul, finding a quality driving range amid the urban sprawl becomes a challenge in its own right. Novices retreat to chicken coop-like indoor simulators that display fantasy rather than fact. Spend enough time on real turf, you'll quickly realize that the gap between indoor simulation and genuine outdoor practice is night and day.
A panoramic view of Show Golf's range (Show Golf)
All of this brings us to Show Golf. Located near Gimpo Airport, a half hour's drive west from central Seoul in light traffic, this colossal facility houses over 180 hitting stations — the largest concentration in the capital.
The entrance signals something different right off the bat. Colorful kitsch and trippy aesthetics replace the staid vibe typical of driving ranges. Graffiti adorns the walls while K-pop booms through speakers, creating an atmosphere more akin to a nightclub than a practice facility.
Main entrance to Show Golf (Show Golf)
Yet Show Golf is much more than just fun vibes, with hardware that legitimately helps you improve your game. The expansive range provides that rarest of Seoul commodities — the ability to track your ball's actual flight and trajectory, not some algorithmic approximation (long bombers need not throttle back; the 300-yard landing area accommodates even the most ambitious drives ― a luxury in the space-starved capital. The fairway's checkerboard design makes for an easier target practice, perfect for golfers working on their aim and alignment issues that send most beginners' shots astray. Meanwhile, two putting greens and a dedicated bunker area round out your practice options for the crucial scoring shots.

Between sessions, golfers can access relaxation rooms with massage chairs, browse equipment shops stocked with the latest gear, or refuel at the cafe and snack bar. For those in the mood for splurging, the third-floor VIP bays offer expanded hitting areas with shot tracers and swing monitors.
Hourly rates run 23,000 won ($16) weekdays and 25,000 won weekends, with member discounts available. The 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. operating hours accommodate early birds and night owls alike.
