<p><b>Summary:</b></p><p>When you were slaves to sin, you were free from righteousness and had no obligation to live rightly. But the outcome of that life was death. Now, being freed from sin and enslaved to God, the benefit is sanctification, leading to eternal life. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.</p><p> </p><p><b>Teaching:</b></p><p>“The gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”</p><p>God’s wage is eternal life. Eternal life is not just religious language—it is truth. God is the God of eternal life.</p><p>It is eternal life found in Christ, our Lord. It means believing in Jesus as my Lord and Christ.
