남아연방 - 난민들을 받아주었다가 농장주가 쫓겨나는 상황

남아연방 : 중앙아프리카에서 쫓겨난 무슬림들에게 친절을 베풀어

농장에 거하도록 하였던 남아공의 백인부부 농부는 그 농장에서 

쫓겨나게 되었습니다. 지난 7월에 그들은 이 농장에 들어왔습니다.

143명의 흑인들이 거주하도록 20 헥타르의 농장을 내주었던

백인 농부 가족은 이제 그곳에서 쫓겨나게 되는 상황입니다.

143명의 흑인 난민들은 농장에 불을 지르고, 오늘밤은 농장주의

날이라며, 죽이겠다고 합니다.

죄목은 정부에 호소하여 여권이나 서류를 만들어주지도 않고,

돈을 주지 않기 때문이며, 주인은 다른 나라로 갈수 있으면서도 

 가야 하는데 떠나지 않는다는 것입니다. 

안떠나면 죽이려 하기 때문입니다. 다만 아직은 그 농장에 대한

통제를 이들 백인농장주가 하고 있는 것으로 보입니다만

불안해서 잠을 잘수 없다고 합니다.

이제 이 백인 농장주가 과거의 평화를 되찾으려면

엄청난 대가를 앞으로도 더 치르어야 할 것같습니다.

남을 도와줄 때는 앞뒤를 철저히 계산해보지 않으면 안된다는

것을 저는 런던에 있는 형제모임이 흑인여자에게

친절을 베풀었다가 지금은 그 여자가 그 건물을 점령하여서

다른 새로운 신자들이 오면 기겁하여 떠나는 상황 가운데서

법적으로 아무런 조치를 할수 없는 것을 보고 다시 한번

생각해보게 되었습니다. 왜냐하면 그 흑인 여자는

빈민이라는 이유로 정부가 돈을 주어서 소송을 행할 수

있도록 법이 보장하고 있는 반면 형제모임은 그 소송을 장기간

치르기에는 지치고 지쳐 있기 때문입니다. 영국법은 걸인들을

대책없이 내쫓을 수 없도록 보호하고 있습니다.

걸인들이 있으면 그냥 돈으로 1,2 달러든 10-20 달러든

주는 것은 별문제가 아니라고 믿어집니다.

Two South African white liberals who opened their hearts and their farm to hundreds of Central African Republic Muslim invaders, who were forced to flee their country because of its anti-Muslim policies, have seized the couple’s farm and physically driven them out of their own farm.

According to an article in News24 at the time, the Wartnabys said they were “heartbroken” when they heard that the local municipality was closing the single remaining “refugee” camp in the area. “The couple’s hearts sank further when they heard that foreigners had been arrested and separated from their children on Friday after illegally occupying the camp,” the original News24 article continued.

After persuading the authorities not to prosecute the arrested blacks, the two leftists decided they had enough space on their farm to house the central Africans. “We just have a heart for children,” Rae Wartnaby said. “I wanted to go to Durban and help, but God said to me that I should not get involved now. He said we must wait and he would need us in the end.”

The central Africans were given housing, food and clothing by the Wartnabys, helped by the “Gift of the Givers, the South African Council of Churches, Islamic Relief and various churches.” The Wartnabys were widely praised in the South African media and described as “good Samaritans” and “angels” who were examples of how “tolerance” and “understanding” could work.

Now, five months later, the Wartnabys have had to flee their own farm. The ungrateful Africans have utterly destroyed the property and have also accused the Wartnabys of “not helping them to be relocated back home or to another country,”—in other words, not giving them enough money, passports, or the ability to go back home, as if this were their responsibility in the first place.

The Africans attacked their home in the early hours of the morning last week, and threated to kill Andrew. He told News24 that they had cut and broken down the fence around the house, and then, “in the early hours of the morning, at around 2 a.m., they came smashing on my windows and doors and saying that they will kill me because I work for the government and I am not helping them.”

He said that as he looked through a window, he saw the tent at the group’s camp engulfed in flames. “I immediately asked if everyone is okay but they kept shouting that tonight was my night and they will kill me. I haven’t slept since then.

“When we took everyone in, we said we would try and help, which we have. But they feel like it has been too long and we let them down. I have asked that group to leave my farm, but they refuse to and to be honest, I don’t know what is going to happen. All I know is that I don’t want to be murdered tonight,” said Andrew.

The Africans are still in control of the farm at time of writing, and the leftist whites, who might or might not have learned their lesson, are in hiding.

아직까지는 농장주의 소유로 농장이 남아있기 때문에 법적으로 어떤 조치가 가능하다는 말입니다만, 미국 같으면 농장안에 있는 자들에게 총을 쏠수 있습니다. 왜냐하면 불법침입이기 때문이지요. 그러나 이 상황은 매우 복잡합니다. 그냥 내주고 떠나는 것이 가장 현명하고 빠른 해법일 수 있습니다. 그 안에 있는 개인 사유물, 기념품등만 챙겨나오면 다행이겠지요.

이 농장주가 저들을 받아들인 시초 발단은 저들이 갈곳이 없어서 쫓겨난다는 말을 들었을 때 가슴이 무너지고 마음이 철렁 부서지는 것을 느꼈고 아무 복잡한 생각없이 그저 우선 들어와 쉬거라 하고 자기들의 정서와 자기들의 생각과 저들이 같을 줄 알고 저들을 불렀던 것입니다. 그는 분명 인정많은 그리스도인이었으리라고 짐작됩니다. 다음부터는 눈감으면 코베가는 세상이 실현되는 것입니다.
