■ Human Life Itself is Business.
Humans are born in debt from the moment they receive a body. Throughout life, they manage their bodies, exchanging everything, including food, clothing, and shelter.
Business should never be one-sided. Win-win is optimal, but that's not always the case.
Depending on the situation and conditions, sometimes one gives more and sometimes receives more.
Humans cannot calculate everything visible and invisible, making it hard to discern the breakeven point.
Therefore, it's essential to give, understand, and consider others first, and ultimately, these actions are for oneself.
Giving love to others first and being generous is ultimately for oneself, so the saying "Give generously" is quite valid.Human life is like business.
Those who are good at addition and subtraction live better, healthier, and happier lives. For example, working hard at a job and producing results leads to receiving a salary or bonuses. Similarly, providing services at the gym to the best of one’s abilities results in higher rewards.Ultimately, based on one's level and ability, the effort and hard work put in make life more prosperous and comfortable.
With this abundance, one can help those in need and gain additional life satisfaction and value.
Whether it's a non-profit or a for-profit organization, the larger the organization, the more funds circulate, and more people are employed and paid.
Therefore, whether helping others or not, it's all business. If one wisely embraces the concept that human life is business, they will not lean to one side but always choose the positive and proactive path.
Martial artists or leaders, often immersed in physical training, tend to be poor.
Because they must surpass and be strong, they are prone to injury and pain.
Moreover, being focused on physical training, they may become distanced from books (study, information),
which can lead to narrow thinking and poor communication, making them easily swayed by others and harboring a victim mentality.
The world is inherently competitive and meritocratic. Within this, there is 'freedom.' One seeks as much as one has created with their abilities.
Otherwise, life becomes tough. One must not be physically, mentally, or materially poor, nor should they be sick or easily swayed to improve the quality of life and live well.
Pursuing a better mental, physical, and material life compared to the past, rather than comparing with others, is essential.
Otherwise, due to 'selfishness and ignorance,' dissatisfaction, complaints, and conflicts arise, leading to suffering as much as one has caused.
In martial arts, although it may apply to some practitioners, those who stubbornly adhere to tradition and focus excessively on rigorous physical training often tend to get injured or sick.
Also, due to their one-sided consciousness and rigid beliefs, they are easily swayed by others.
This leads to poverty, discomfort in old age, and dissatisfaction with their shortcomings.
In other words, they create hardship and difficulty in life due to greed and ignorance.
The importance of being good at addition and subtraction in human life has been clearly expressed directly or metaphorically in many scriptures, including Buddhist scriptures, for hundreds or thousands of years.
This is the fundamental principle of life. The saying "Human life is business" refers to the economic concept that spans from birth to death.
It also means that it is about giving and receiving between oneself and others (in self, family, society, and country).
In the process, one must be good at addition and subtraction (wisdom).
That is, responding appropriately and timely to reality.
Those who do this well succeed and become healthy and happy.
In Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo, martial arts training is used to accurately present the ultimate goal of human life and the ultimate purpose of martial arts training, based on the principles, laws, and truths of nature to help achieve them.
This is the mission of the founder of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu-HK. Understanding and practicing these ultimate goals and principles of nature is the true path to success and happiness in human life.
