"October" by Robert Frost

Oh hushed October morning mild

thy leaves have  ripened to the fall

tomorrow's wind if it be wild

should waste them all

the crows above the  forest call tomorrow

they may form and go

Oh hushed October morning mild

begin the hours of  this day slow

make the day seemed to us less brief

hearts not adverse to being beguiled beguile us in the way you know

release one leaf at break of day at noon

release another leaf one from our trees one far away

retard the Sun with gentle mist 

enchant the land with amethyst slow

slow for the  grapes sake

if they were all whose leaves already are burned

with frost whose clustered fruit must cells be lost

for the grapes sake along the wall

오, 조용한 10월 아침이여 온화하구나

네 잎이 가을에 익었구나

내일 바람이 거칠다면

그 모든 것을 소모해야 할 거야

숲 위의 까마귀들이 내일을 부른다

그들은 모여서 갈지도 모른다

오, 조용한 10월 아침이여 온화하구나

이 하루의 시간을 느리게 시작하라

하루가 우리에게 덜 짧게 느껴지게 해

속임을 당하는 것을 싫어하지 않는 마음은

우리를 속인다 네가 아는 방식으로

새벽에 한 잎을 떨어뜨려라

우리 나무에서 또 다른 잎을 떨어뜨려라

멀리 떨어진 곳에서 한 잎을 떨어뜨려라

부드러운 안개로 태양을 늦추어라

포도를 위해 자수정으로 땅을 느리게

느리게 매혹시켜라

만약 그들이 모두 이미 잎이 타버렸다면

뭉쳐진 과일 세포가 사라져야 할 서리로

포도를 위해 담을 따라
