As a general rule, every match suspension (of players and other persons) is carried over from one round to the next in the same competition.1. 일반적인 규칙으로, 각 경기의 출장정지 (선수나 기타 인물)은 동일한 대회의 다음 경기로 이어진다.   2. Match suspensions in relation to an expulsion pronounced on a player outside of a competition (separate match[es]) or not served during the  competition for which they were intended (elimination or the last match in the competition) are carried over as follows:대회(개별 시합)에 관계없이 출장정지 판정이 내려진 선수 혹은, 해당 대회에서 소화되지 않는 출장 정지 (탈락 혹은 마지막 경기) 는 다음과 같이 이어진다.  a) FIFA World Cup™: carried over to the representative team’s subsequent offi cial match;a) 월드컵 -- 대표팀 팀의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다. b) competitions subject to an age limit: carried over to the representative team’s next offi cial match in the same age group. Where the suspension cannot be served in the same age group, it shall be carried over to the next highest age category;b) 연령별 대회 -- 해당 연령대 대표 팀의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다. 해당 선수가 더이상 그 연령대가 아닐경우에는 다음 연령대의 공식 매치로 이어진다.  c) FIFA Confederations Cup: carried over to the representative team’s next offi cial match;c) 콘페드컵 -- 대표팀 의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다.  d) FIFA Club World Cup: carried over to the club’s next offi cial match;d) 클럽 월드컵 -- 클럽팀의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다. e) confederation competitions for representative teams: carried over to the representative team’s next offi cial match in a competition organised by FIFA;e) 대표팀의 대륙별 대회 -- FIFA에 의해 개최되는 대회에서, 대표팀의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다.  f) competitions in which teams have been chosen in accordance with  certain criteria (cultural, geographical, historical etc.): if the regulations of these competitions refer to the FIFA regulations for disciplinary sanctions, the suspension is carried over to the representative team’s next offi cial match;f) 어떤 특정 조건에 의해 정해지는 대회 (문화권, 지역권, 역사적 대회) -- 이 대회가 징계에 의한 제제에 관한 FIFA 규정을 적용하기로 결정한경우에 한해서, 해당 팀의 다음 공식 매치로 이어진다.   g) friendly matches: carried over to the representative team’s next friendly match.g) 친선 경기 -- 대표 팀의 다음 친선 경기로 이어진다.
