Currently, bulk Fertilizer & Rock phosphate has been landed at SPSB pier as well as POIC pier, depending
on the local receivers’ choice and conveniences.
01..Both SPSB and POIC has a draft restrictions of 12M draft at the berth (reading at chart datum).
02..Draft on road/approach – 15m+
03..Max LOA 200m // Beam restriction at berth is not applicable.
04..Average disch rate 2500mt per day, basis working minimum 2-3 holds/gangs simultaneously igw.
05..Public Holiday in November 2020 – 14/11/2020 (Deepavali or Diwali)
06..Freight tax on freight payable locally (within Malaysia).
07..Weather Cond in November 2020 – usually dry (based on previous years’ record)
08..COVID19 pandemic control – crew change and shore leaves for crews has been restricted/banned.
09..Discharging method – bulk RP to be discharged with shore 6mt capacity grabs , ship’s cranes are to be fully utilized throughout the discharging operation at the pier (stevedores work 24 hours).
10..Pilotage and towage are strictly compulsory.
