1972년부터 판매한 Barlow-Wadley XCR-30 수신기는 남아프리카 공화국의 

TL Wadley 박사에 의해 "Wadley Loop" 회로를 적용하여 500kHz ~ 30MHz

의 전체 스펙트럼 대역을 기계적으로 전환하지 않고도 수신 가능하게한 최초

의 휴대용으로 우수한 안정성과 5kHz까지 직접 주파수 판독이 가능하도록 개

발된 포터블 수신기로 1976년에 일본 Yaesu에서 개량하여 테이블탑형인 FRG-7

출시에 결정적인 역활을한 수신기로 소개되고 있습니다.
