■ Remarkable Inyeon (인연)-Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK Worldwide Exchange in Italy in 2024


The main events of Haedong Kumdo around the world usually include black belt tests, tournaments, and seminars in different countries.

Afterward, participants explore local attractions, enjoy various foods, and subtly experience and exchange each other's unique cultures, building closeness and friendship while envisioning their own dreams and goals.

In particular, the act of exchanging even small gifts during these meetings goes beyond the physical value of the presents. The true measure of these exchanges lies in the sincere hearts and love shared, which is incomparable to anything else.

Through these interactions, we cultivate a generous spirit, learning to be considerate and understanding of others. This expanding capacity for love is what we can call "the essence of love," something we carry with us even at the end of our lives.

Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu constantly teaches this principle, rooted in the Principle of Nature. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to cultivate this within themselves.

Through the framework of Haedong Kumdo, Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu helps individuals understand the deeper meaning of physical and mental training beyond the martial art itself, under the grand theme of Nature's Principle. This understanding guides them to realize how health and happiness are achieved during one's lifetime and what the ultimate goal of human life is.

This year, at the 2024 event in Italy from May 31 to June 3, participants included masters, instructors, their students, and families from Greece, Ireland, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands. Christoforos, Mike Georgitsis, Nikos Zaf, Alexander Grant, and his son, Victor Baytchev, Filip, Carla, Kathy joined.


These are people who have been practicing Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu for a few years, some for almost 20 years. It's a remarkable 인연 (Inyeon).

인연 (Inyeon) is a Korean term that refers to the mysterious and meaningful connections between people, often believed to be predestined or brought about by fate.

I sincerely hope they continue to experience the blessings of life through understanding the Principle of Nature, both physically and mentally.

지구촌의 크고 작은 해동검도 행사의 주요 내용은 각 국별 행사를 통해 블랙벨트 심사와 대회, 그리고 세미나로 이어진다.

이 후, 지역 명소 탐방과 먹거리를 찾고, 각기 다른 서로의 톡특한 문화를 알게 모르게 접하고 교류하면서 서로간 친밀감과 우애를 쌓아가면서
각자 나름의 꿈과 그림을 다함께 그려보기도 한다.

특히, 서로간의 만남을 통해, 조그만 선물 하나라도, 주고 받는 선물의 크기 보다는 상호 교감하는 진실한 마음의 크기와 사랑은 그 무엇과도 비교할 바가 아니다.

여기서도 우리는 각자 마음의 여유와
상대를 배려하고 이해하는 마음을 키운다.
그 마음의 크기가 "사랑"이고,
인간이 죽어서 마지막 갈 때도 가져가게 되는 "사랑의 본질"이라고 표현해 볼 수있다.

그것을 진영쌍검류는, 자연의 이치를 바탕으로, 끊임없이 반복해서 가르친다.
그것을 만들어가는 사람은 결국 당사자다. 즉 각자의 마음에 달려있다는 말이기도 하다.

진영쌍검류 해동검도라는 무술의 틀을 통해 심신수련의 의미를, 자연의 이치라는 큰 명제 아래, 그 틀을 벗어난 심신수련의 이해와 인간 삶의 이치를 깨달아, 사는동안 건강과 행복은 어떻게 얻어지는 것이며, 인간 삶의 궁극적 목표는 무엇인지 알고 체험하도록 도와주고 이끈다.

이번 2024년도 이태리 행사에서도 그리스, 아일랜드, 불가리아, 네덜란드에서 관장, 사범, 그의 수련생들과 가족 동반하여 참가하였다.

본인, 즉 진영쌍검류와 접한 지,
거의 수 년에서 약 20년이 다 되어가는 수련생들이다.

기막힌 인연이다.

자연의 이치를 몸과 마음으로 깨달아
자연에서 주어지는 삶의 축복을 끊임없이 경험할 수 있기를 마음 속으로기도해 본다.

또 다음의 재회를 기약한다.
