I read Jose Mujica: The Quiet Revolution and learned about José Mujica, the former president of Uruguay.

Before becoming a president, his political ideas had been shaped by his difficult experiences and belief in equality.

Mujica himself showed that a political leader should listen to citizens and explain his decisions honestly.

Some of his policies had been criticized, but he continued to pursue what he believed was important for society.

Through his life, I myself learned that politics is not only about gaining power but also about making decisions for society.

Before reading this book, the importance of political communication had been overlooked by me.

Now, I want to study politics and examine how political decisions are communicated to citizens.

In the future, I will compare how different countries’ media describe the same political event and explore how political perspectives influence news reporting.
