Out-of -pocket expenses : money that you spend on things such as food and travel while you are working for someone else (출장시 음식이나 경비를 주머니 돈으로 먼저 사용하고 나중에 되받는 돈)

A : Miss Lee in accounting called about your travel documents.

(경리의 미스리가 네 출장 서류와 관련해서 전해했더라)

B : What about them?

(뭐라고 그랬는데?)

A : She said that you can't claim all of your meals.

(네가 식대를 청구할 수 없다고 하더라)

B : Why not ? Shouldn't my meals be out-of pocket expenses?

(왜 안돼? 내 호주머니돈으로 선지출한 식대를 왜 못준데?)

A : Normally it should be, but you made six trips to a fast food restaurant in one day.

(정상적으로는 줘야지. 그런데 너는 하루에 패스트 푸드 음식점을 여섯번이나 이용했어)

B : It was all because I was hungry.

(그건 내가 배가 고팠기 때문이지)

A : That may be true, but three meals is the limit

(그럴 수 있지, 그러나 3회의 식사로 제한되어 있어)
