예수께서 유대 베들레헴에서 나시매                                                                                                  (마2:1~23)  마2:1   헤롯왕 때에 예수께서 유대 베들레헴에서 나시매 동방으로부터 박사들이 예루살렘에 이르러 말하되Mat2:1   Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,마2:2   유대인의 왕으로 나신 이가 어디 계시뇨 우리가 동방에서 그의 별을 보고 그에게 경배하러 왔노라 하니Mat2:2   Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.마2:3  헤롯 왕과 온 예루살렘이 듣고 소동한지라Mat2:3   When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.마2:4   왕이 모든 대제사장과 백성의 서기관들을 모아 그리스도가 어디서 나겠느뇨 물으니Mat2:4   And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.마2:5   가로되 유대 베들레헴이오니 이는 선지자로 이렇게 기록된바Mat2:5   And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,마2:6   또 유대 땅 베들레헴아 너는 유대 고을 중에 가장 작지 아니하도다 네게서 한 다스리는 자가 나와서 내 백성 이스라엘의 목자가 되리라 하였음이니이다Mat2:6   And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.마2:7   이에 헤롯이 가만히 박사들을 불러 별이 나타난 때를 자세히 묻고Mat2:7   Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.마2:8 베들레헴으로 보내며 이르되 가서 아기에 대하여 자세히 알아보고 찾거든 내게 고하여 나도 가서 그에게 경배하게 하라Mat2:8   And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, God and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.마2:9   박사들이 왕의 말을 듣고 갈 쌔 동방에서 보던 그 별이 문득 앞서 인도하여 가다가 아기 있는 곳 위에 머물러 섰는지라Mat2:9   When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.마2:10   저희가 별을 보고 가장 크게 기뻐하고 기뻐하더라Mat2:10   When they saw the star, they refoiced with exceeding great joy.마2:11   집에 들어가 아기와 그 모친 마리아의 함께 있는 것을 보고 엎드려 아기께 경배하고 보배 합을 열어 황금과 유황과 몰약을 예물로 드리니라Mat2:11   And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.마2:12   꿈에 헤롯에게로 돌아가지 말라 지시하심을 받아 다른 길로 고국에 돌아가니라Mary2:12   And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.마2:13   저희가 떠난 후에 주의 사자가 요셉에게 현몽하여 가로되 헤롯이 아기를 찾아 죽이려하니 일어나 아기와 그의 모친을 데리고 애굽으로 피하여 내가 네게 이르기까지 거기 있으라 하시니Mat2:13   And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.마2:14   요셉이 일어나서 밤에 아기와 그의 모친을 데리고 애굽으로 떠나가Mat2:14   When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed int Egypt:마2:15   헤롯이 죽기까지 거기 있었으니 이는 주께서 선지자로 말씀하신바 애굽에서 내 아들을 불렀다 함을 이루려 하심이니라Mat2:15   And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.마2:16   이에 헤롯이 박사들에게 속은 줄을 알고 심히 노하여 사람을 보내어 베들레헴과 그 모든 지경 안에 있는 사내아이를 박사들에게 자세히 알아본 그 때를 표준하여 두 살부터 그 아래로 다 죽이니Mat2:16   Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth,마2:17   이에 선지자 예레미야로 말씀하신바Mat2:17   Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,마2:18   라마에서 슬퍼하며 크게 통곡하는 소리가 들리니 라헬이 그 자식을 위하여 애곡하는 것이라 그가 자식이 없으므로 위로 받기를 거절하였도다 함이 이루어졌느니라Mat2:18   In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.마2:19   헤롯이 죽은 후에 주의 사자가 애굽에서 요셉에게 현몽하여 가로되Mat2:19   But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,마2:20   일어나 아기와 그 모친을 데리고 이스라엘 땅으로 가라 아기의 목숨을 찾던 자들이 죽었느니라 하시니Mat2:20   Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.마2:21   요셉이 일어나 아기와 그 모친을 데리고 이스라엘 땅으로 들어오니라Mat2:21   And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.마2:22   그러나 아켈라오가 그 부친 헤롯을 이어 유대의 임금 됨을 듣고 거기로 가기를 무서워하더니 꿈에 지시하심을 받아 갈릴리 지방으로 떠나가Mat2:22   But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:마2:23   나사렛이란 동네에 와서 사니 이는 선지자로 하신 말씀에 나사렛 사람이라 칭하리라 하심을 이루려 함이러라Mat2:23   And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.     그러니까요. 원래 사울은 아기 예수를 높이고자 하는 마음이 전혀 없는 사람이었습니다.   So, originally Saul was not someone who had any desire at all to exalt the baby Jesus.   그는 자신의 치부 때문에 왕으로 세워질 수 없는 사람이었지만 그는 사람들을 강제 압박으로 눈가림으로 살아가는 사람이었음을 알 수 있습니다.   He was someone who could not have been established as king because of his own flaws and shame, yet we can see that he lived by deceiving people through force and pressure.    그러기에 아기예수가 태어나는 것 조차 그는 너무도 큰 위협임을 깨닫게 되고 그 타락한 왕의 자리에 앉은 한사람의 탐욕으로 인하여 어처구니 없는 2살아래의 모든 아이들이 죽어나가는 너무도 끔찍한 일이 자행이 되었습니다.   Therefore, even the birth of the baby Jesus became a tremendous threat to him, and because of the greed of one man sitting on that corrupted throne as king, a horrifying atrocity was carried out in which all children under the age of two were senselessly killed.    하지만 우리는 우리의 삶을 자세히 면밀히 살펴보며 살아가야 하겠습니다. 왜냐하면 우리의 인생이 그리 길지 않다는 사실을 깨닫게 되기 때문입니다.   But we must live by examining our lives carefully and closely, because we come to realize that our time in this world is not very long.    이 땅에 사는 동안 그 사람의 행적을 모두 하나님께서는 아십니다.   During our life on this earth, God knows every deed of that person.    그가 어떠한 삶의 결과를 가지고 살아갔었는지를 또한 그 일들을 통하여 하나님께서는 하나님의 뜻하시는 일들을 하나님께서 이루실 것을 믿습니다.   I believe that through the results of the life he has lives, God will accomplish His will.
