Local production of plastic hose including the list of local manufacturers:  ○ As local production is quite strong in plastic pipe sector, there are many companies operating in manufacturing PVC, uPVC, HDPE, PPR pipes and fittings. However, it could be said that most of the players are focusing on plastic pipes for water supply and water drainage while other applications for industrial use is not really a highlight.  ○ Regarding PVC products, which are reported to account for the largest share of local market sale volume, the more popular items are PVC and uPVC pipes (hard pipes) for water transportation. PVC hose, on the other hand, are produced rather limitedly by several enterprises. Among them, there are only 02 companies that have set up s trong presence and brand establishment in Vietnam. So far, Dat Hoa Plastic and Ly Xuan Lan Plastic are currently offering competitive products of PVC hose such as PVC layflat discharge hose, PCV grit hose, PVC spray hose for gas transportation, etc. It is estimated that more than 80% of the dealers and agents are working with these two companies, which create very competitive distribution channels for marketing their products, especially Dat Hoa Plastic, who also provides other kinds of plastic pipes. </td></tr></tbody></table>
